thinking of dining at STK? You better put your sneakers on! It was about a 10 min walk from the parking garage to the restaurant! It doesn’t feel so bad as it’s real pretty but when you’re wearing your super cute high heels is definitely a walk! It’s real pretty inside they have this super cute STK wall made of pink flowers! Perfect to take a few pics! Walking in they sat us at an awkward table! But the manager came by and moved us to a bigger much better table, where we could actually have some elbow room! The server that started us off was super charming and funny but then disappeared after taking our food ordered. I guess he went home and didn’t tell us so some random lady took over. The food was delicious!! We got the calamari to start and I really liked it! It came with a sweet sauce to dip it. And they also brought bread to the table! The bread came with a weird green oil that looked funky to me so I didn’t have any of it but the bread was really good by itself. I got the maple rubbed salmon priced at $55 as I wasn’t in the mood for steak. Though I asked for no maple and the server said it would be no problem. It still came out with the maple flavor. I guess cause he knew he was leaving he didn’t really care. But it was one of my girlfriends birthday so I didn’t wanna say anything. I actually really enjoyed it so it was okay. The sides are priced at $20 each but they are rather large so you can share with the table! Out of the asparagus, mash potatoes and Mac and cheese, the Mac was my absolutely favorite! My girlfriends got a couple of drinks and they were tasty and strong! I am not drinking atm so I had Sheryl temple lol. I really wish the service was better though, random ladies kept coming up to our table and trying to take plates when they clearly still had food in it!!!! We were sharing and they kept taking our side plates and silverware!!! We literally had to eat with our fingers at one point! We asked them to please stop taking the plates specifically if there was food on it! As we were trying to enjoy our meal and chat with each other and celebrate the birthday girl! But nope they kept doing it! We asked for to go boxes and as we were trying to pack our food the same lady we had just told to please stop taking our plates with food in it came back to our table and started taking the plates we had yet to pack to take home!! I literally had to yell at the lady “stop!!! We’re taking all of this home!!!” So she would put the plates down. The whole experience was very annoying! Like we are spending hundreds of dollars on food like please let us enjoy and take our time! They rushed our whole dinner!! Which was very disappointing! They ruined the whole vibe and atmosphere! There aren’t many vegetarian options either! But The food was great came out quite fast and...
Read moreThere are a lot of good restaurants to choose from at Disney springs and this is certainly one of them. However, having tried them all and enjoyed most of them, I want to set realistic expectations. This is my second time here so it’s not a first impression.
First reservations are recommended. Although this is one of the most expensive restaurants in the complex by quite a bit it is always busy at dinner time, even Sunday night. The tables are fairly close and the place is loud. While the atmosphere is nice this is not a relaxing fine dining experience. Hip Hop / Club music plays quite loud and makes it hard to talk over the din of the customers and staff. I’m quite blessed to have enjoyed some very fine dining establishments and while the prices are in line this is less old money elegant and more of an atmosphere for the urban nuveau money mtv crowd. Not that there is anything wrong with that but if you want a quiet upscale dining experience best to look elsewhere. Again not a complaint per se and there is a pot for every lid but it’s not typically what you’d anticipate from the price list or the photos
The wait staff have been fantastic every time and you couldn’t ask for much more from them. High marks for the job they do. Ancillary staff are hit and miss but you will be made to feel center of attention as good waitstaff will.
The steaks are good if not a bit small for the price. The brussel sprouts are often delicious. Dessert is typically enjoyable. The red crab legs while overly expensive ($25 each) are served cold and are fairly tasty with good presentation.
Overall it’s a good experience every time. Will I go back again? No. Too many other excellent places to dine for half the price with much more interesting atmosphere and you don’t have to shout over the same music you’ve heard blaring out car windows all day as they drive up and down international drive all day. If you’re looking for a get truly dressed up and have an elegant evening out this wont be your cup of tea. If you’re younger and want to drop some big money and post pics all night of what you’re eating and wearing on social media this is likely what you’re looking for.
Thank goodness there’s something for everyone’s taste. Hope this helps you choose the right place. Again these are not criticisms just observations to help you decide where to go with your hard earned money There are several great places within crawling distance with immensely cooler atmosphere that you can talk and enjoy for...

Visiting from our of town and Googled good restaurant in the area. STK had good ratings so decided to see if they had availability, they did and was excited. Getting there and getting checked in was smooth and easy. However, once we sat down and started with the server the experience started to deminish. First, our server didn't seem friendly, more matter of fact. When we ordered drinks and Calamari we were advised we had to place our entire order together... Okay... Not ideal since we weren't ready but hurried up so we could comply. We ended up ordering Calamari, Medium Rare NY strip and 2 sides. TO BE CLEAR... the restaurant was not full at all as there were several tsbles open and changing constantly. We finished our drinks and water (20 minutes had probably passed). We were patient.. at about the 35 minute mark we ask for an update after seeing everyone getting their food around us and we're advise something had happened and our order wasn't in. We were irritated but understood. 10 minutes after we finally received our Calamari. Also to be noted a family sat next to us and left after about 20 minutes... Not sure why but they too didn't seem thrilled about the waiting for the server to get their drinks. We were starving by this point so eat the calamari and then ask about the rest of our food... Then we're told that the waiter asked to hold our food since the calamari had just came out...🤦🏽 Finally our food arrives after about an hour... We were hungry and irritated... To be asked to order all at once and service still be this slow and not a friendly waiter was not it. Once we cut into the steak it was more medium to medium well versus the medium rare we asked for... The meat was tough because of this but we didn't bother to say anything as we were starving and had waited so long. In the end i felt the food would have been much better gad it not been delayed as that's why it was probably overcooked. In the end the food was OK But i would want to give them another chance. To be noted... We did get the calamari removed because of the delay, but damage was...
