Went in the drive through lane with my mom. We ordered or food, and had to repeat the order three times for them to get it right. After getting to the front and asking what they had on the order , the girl working the window rolled her eyes at us. She then, begin to call back to us an order that seem to be part ours , part some one else's? With four items we didn't ask for, one of them being somethibg we never heard of . We then tried to get her to correct the order and she got very rude with us... Saying " well they are already making the food so, you wanne just pay for it ?" . Needless to say my mother who was driving said no, that isn't what we orders can we speak to a higher up ?. 20 minutes later the girl came back and told us " he told me to just cancel that and make a new order so what you want again." We were sitting in line for almost 45 minutes now and my mom was getting very upset. We reodered ,thinking that since the order was right everything would be a okay . so we finally get our food ,which oddly only took 5 or so minutes and paid. We then pulled into the parking lots to check the order. Turns out they must have just bagged the food we originally ordered almost an hour ago and gave it to us. The food was cold and saugy , and we were missing a cup of butter noodles and adult grilled cheese . Grabbing the receipt, we got our of the car with the food and made our way into the restaurant. We got to the front counter explained what happened and asked if we could speak with some one in charge. The girl up front was very nice and returned with a manger in less then 6 or so minutes. We then explained the fact we had to order 4 or more times to get it right , being there for almost an hour and a half, and still got the wrong thing. He took the food , went to the drive through window , I guess talked to young lady there. Talk to a cook and then went to the back. We waited about 15 minutes and a new bag was made , we thanked them got in the car and when we got home checked to realize ... We were still missing food. Needless to say I am happy with the efforts of the dine in staff for being so cherryfull and very nice/ respectful . However my mom and I will never being going in the drive through again , horrible horrible service, very rude , and seemed for 7:30 is at night that they could careless the job was already over for them. This is the second time I've gone at night and this happened. Beware I would only go in the building and never go in the drive through...
Read moreI really have nothing bad to say about Panera food. It’s slightly over priced, but healthy and delicious. However, my service this morning was beyond upsetting and frustrating. I arrive minutes before breakfast stops service, that was my fault I did not know Panera had breakfast only hours, so I own that. What is upsetting is as I go to order a breakfast sandwich at, or minutes before 10:30, and an employee - one not taking my order- tells the front register worker there are no more eggs. So then the person taking my orders apologizes and asks me what else I would like to order. I ask if there is anyway possible to get the sandwich since it is exactly 10:30 because I m pregnant and would really love to order a breakfast sandwich. Being a hungry pregnant woman is not Panera's fault, that’s on me. BUT I change my order to just a bagel which roughly $5 cheaper than a breakfast sandwich and start walking to my seat when the employee that told both myself and the front register begins to ORDER HERSELF A BREAKFAST SANDWICH WITH DOUBLE BACON RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!!! I couldn’t help it, I asked the employee if she was just ordering herself a breakfast sandwich to which she replied, “well, yes. I sat an egg aside for myself”. Not asking Panera to adjust their hours for breakfast and not asking them to make exceptions for pregnant women, just asking that your employees not turn down a service that will bring more money to your Lake Charles location and then proceed to order said service that was denied to a customer right in front of their face. Beyond...
Read moreMy fiance came to visit and was starting to feel sick and hadn't eaten anything all morning. He said he wanted something light. Like soup or something to see if that would help settle his stomach. So what better place to get a delicious soup but Panera Bread located on Nelson Road lake Charles La near Lauberge Hotel and Casino and Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino. I ordered a Chicken Noodle Soup bowl for him and for me myself I ordered the Turkey Panini and a cup of Vegetable Soup and a Strawberry Banana Smoothie. Everything was absolutely delicious. I had visited Panera Bread a few times before purchasing pastries, and cookies for the holidays. I've always had a Great experience, and the staff is always very nice and accommodating. My only complaint sometimes is the drive thru service. It's always really slow at theo window, but in all fairness the wait is...
