Came here a couple days after Christmas. We are visiting from Colorado. There are many locations to choose from where we come from, and service is almost always impeccable. We've been eating at chick fil a since the 90s. It's a higher standard of fast food, usually. Interestingly enough, I would say the people in Louisiana are much friendlier and more accommodating than they are in the Denver area, which is why I found my visit to this location out of the ordinary. The place was super busy, we chose to eat in only because the place we're staying doesn't have a table to eat at. The first issue I had was when placing my order, I scanned my app. The order taker (Stormy Raene, or something like that), didn't tell me my app hadn't scanned for my points correctly. Chick fil a doesn't make it easy to add points later, although I'm sure could be made easier. Ive experienced easier ways on other apps. Anyway, I am waiting for my food and as I'm sitting there waiting, I decided to look over my receipt. I asked for NO corn on my salad. All I ordered was a cobb salad with a few modifications and a drink. I had requested extra egg and ranch dressing instead of the avocado ranch that comes with it, because I'm sensitive to avocado. But my receipt shows corn added and I was charged for it. I went to the register and was pretty much ignored for several minutes. My son called to tell me that my salad had arrived. I got the salad and took it back to the counter and waited and was ignored for several more minutes. Finally someone asked me if I needed help and I said that I had asked for no corn on my salad and that I'd been charged for it. So they said they would fix it. They didn't offer to refund me for the corn that I had been charged for. They took the salad back and several more minutes go by and I'm still waiting for my salad. A very nice woman came over and asked if I needed help and I explained what happened she said she would see what happened to my order. I went back to the counter and asked for my refund. They made it seem like I was inconveniencing them for asking. I finally got the refund, and went back to wait for my salad. The nice lady (I think her name was Paula) brought my salad. I looked at it and realized after she walked away that there was no chicken on it! 🤦♀️ Seriously. I took the salad back to the counter and she saw me and asked if something was wrong. I said it didn't have any chicken. She was surprised, too, and said she would take care of it. I finally got it back and it was how it should be. I have NEVER had an experience like this EVER, at any of the several locations I've visited in our home area. I've had minor issues but never anything like this. My son and I love chick fil a and I will be in town for around another month, so I'll probably be back, and hopefully that experience was just a fluke. I just realized a few days ago that my points weren't increased from my last purchase so I just got done adding them to my app before posting this. I have never written a review for chick fil a before, because I've never had a bad experience there. I only leave reviews if it was amazing, or terrible. This...
Read moreABSOLUTE WORST CHICK-FIL-A! As someone who previously worked at a Chick-fil-A, I can honestly say this location is an absolute joke of the franchise. The owner needs to take these reviews seriously, which they clearly don’t since there is never a response on any of them & the employees need to get it together.
Today I spent the ENTIRETY of my lunch break trying to get through the drive through just to receive a bag with the wrong order. The sandwich (that wasn’t mine) was packaged in a box so soggy that the cardboard was literally disintegrating in my hand as I picked it up.
I called and asked for my correct order to be delivered down the road since I spent all of my lunch break waiting for it and couldn’t leave again to spend that much time in the drive through, I was told no and that I could place a separate order for delivery instead.
Delivery took 40 MINUTES to arrive to my work and the food was cold, I even ordered the mac & cheese instead of fries this time because you can’t mess that up right? WRONG it was gritty somehow and barely had any cheese, it was also cold. I wasted my rewards that I had to get the price of my order lowered since I had to cover the cost of delivery, since they refused to fix their mistake.
Not to mention, last time I went here I received a filet so small it only covered HALF of the bun, over 50% of the time I have gone there my order has been incorrect, cold or messed up in some fashion. On the off chance my order was correct, I had to spend an unreasonable amount of time in the drive through. The only reason I continued to go back was because it is unfortunately the only location in this area and I kept thinking maybe it will get...
Read moreIt has been a few years since I even set foot in a drive through at Chick-fil-a but I was on a good will mission to buy some food for a homeless person and decided to go to this location.
It was an absolute awful experience. As I pulled up, a young boy came up to take my order. I was too far away from the menu screen to see it and I had only ordered from this restaurant a few times years ago, so I requested a menu.
He walked to the door talking into his headset and returned with a menu. As he handed it to me, he sniped with an attitude and said, "It's a very complicated menu of chicken."
I should have stopped what I was doing and asked to speak to the manager right there. I wasn't rude to this boy and it felt like I was being judged from the very get go. He treated me like absolute garbage all for asking to see a menu.
After I ordered and pulled up to the window and got my food, the girl in the window seemed very judgemental of me as well anticipating me coming to the window.
I told her about the incident and just said I think that kid needs his break because he was very rude to me.
She couldn't care less and said he had been working since this morning - which I assume he probably hadn't had a break and was dehydrated.
I let the incident go, but this was just unacceptable from start to finish. I felt like a burden for coming and ordering food. I felt judged and was singled out and targeted for unacceptable behavior not doing anything wrong.
I will not be returning to this location.... or any chick-fil-a for...
