McDonald's — Restaurant in Lake Elsinore

Absolutely Horrible!! Against my better judgement, I came here because my kids wanted "fries and nuggets". Went through the drive thru and the staff was fast and friendly. The woman who took my payment at the first window was friendly and engaging.... But that is where anything positive stopped. At the next window, the employee just kind of handed me a drink carrier with our drinks. No hello, or hi just handed me the drinks. He looked back at the screen with a confused look on his face. He turned and told me they were waiting on the patty to cook for my burger and asked if I would wait in the front for them to bring out my order. No big deal, usually they're out in about a minute. 11 minutes later, an employee walks out with 3 kids meals and another bag. I waive at him and said that's probably my order. He walked to 3 other cars and checked with them. he finally walks over to me and asks what I ordered. I told him 3 nugget kids meals and a quarter pounder meals. He looks at the food and walks away to another car. He comes back again and asks what I ordered. I told him again. He sets the bag down and says let me check. Obviously he couldn't retain the knowledge of what he had in his hands in the 40 foot walk outside. He proceeds to open each kids meal and rummage through them to make sure they were nuggets. He was sticking his bare hands into my kids food, touching the fries. I told him he doesn't need to stick his hand in, just open it and look. He replied, "I want to make sure." He hands me the kids meals and tells me I need to wait on my order.... so I wait another 2 minutes. A different employee walks out with a bag. She checked with 2 other vehicles before walking to my vehicle. she hands me my bag. I check it. it was my order. I asked who the manager was. She looked at me confused. I asked what the managers name was, she stood there confused and shrugged her shoulders, as if she didn't know. I asked her if she knew who she worked for? She finally mumbled a name incoherently, I asked her to send the manager out since I had 3 kids in my car and wasn't going inside. A manager came out and as expected all I heard was apology after apology, but no mention of disgusting food handling procedures. She was passing the problem off to the store manager and did not know how to handle anything.

When I got home, all the food was cold due to the delay of it all, I had to throw my kids fries away due to the guy running his bare hands all over them.

I love McDonald's. I wanna start off by saying I love McDonald's because it's just awesome. I also wanna say a few good things about this location the food is great and the service is friendly. Now with that said I went just the other night to pick up some food and they had me park at 1 of the 3 parking spots they set aside for people in the drive-through when the wait is too long. I don't think it's fair or right to park in these area because it's so unlit there is no lighting at night. It's not A dangerous area but it isn't fair for the McDonald's staff to have to walk out through the parking lot late at night in the dark to deliver the food to their guest while the guess wait in the car. There are several homeless people around and I have nothing Badd to say about homeless people. They're just trying to survive but some of them aren't healthy. I can't imagine what it would be like for someone to have to wait in their car who may be afraid of all of these people around in the dark. I don't believe it's safe for the staff to come out at night by themselves or with out a coworker. I think it should be much better lit the lighting is horrible. Sorry to write so much about this I just wouldn't want my daughters to be parked outside at night in the dark waiting for their food or if they worked at McDonald's to have to cross the parking lot at night it just doesn't seem...

I went to this location off Collier and ordered about $32 dollars worth of food and once I paid at the first window I was sent to the second window where I was approached by a dark haired slim fit gentleman. He handed me the drinks and asked me if I could park in a parking space and that they would bring my food out. My husband told him that we would like to wait at the window because every time we order from this location there is stuff missing. He then demanded for my husband to either park the vehicle or he can get his money back. At this point we decided to give the drinks back to the gentleman and upon giving him the drinks he let go of the drinks all over my vehicle. I usually am not the kind that leaves a bad review and under different circumstances I wouldn't but when you purposely drop drinks at my car which I have only made 2 payments on then we have issues. My husband asked to talk to the Manager Veronica and she angrily asked us to never go back there again. I don't know if they were having a bad day but working in customer service all of this was uncalled for. So we decided to leave and went to Jack in the Box and we actually spend $28 so thank you McDonald's for losing one more customer for the way your employees...
