Barley Brothers Brewery — Restaurant in Lake Havasu City

Terrible service and experience. We had eaten at this restaurant several times over the past few years. We've previously enjoyed this restaurant so we made it a point to stop here for dinner on Feb. 7th on our way from Quartzsite to Laughlin. We were told the wait would be about 20 minutes. We waited at least 50 minutes to be seated. Our waitress eventually got to our table and asked about drinks. We ordered one water and one large beer in a cold glass. About 10 minutes later, the waitress came back to get our order and she still didn't have our drinks. She took our order and finally returned with a water and a small beer in a warm glass. When I reminded her that I ordered a large beer, she said, "OK just drink this one and I will bring you a large and only charge you for a small.". After about 15 minutes, she returned with another small beer (not a large as she had promised). We watched other customers (in a different section) come in after us, eat their meal, and leave with their to-go boxes. We had been seated about an hour and still never got our food or saw our waitress again. She never came back to fill our water or let us know the status of our meals. We finally had had enough and we put some money on the table hoping it would cover the beer and left the restaurant. Including the wait time to be seated and the wait time for our food that never came, we spent almost 2 hours at this restaurant. We drove to Laughlin and had a speedy excellent meal at the hotel. This was my third time at this establishment and would have given 4 stars ⭐️ had it not been for the incredibly rude server named Cindy. This was my third time ordering the same drink I always order at this place and everywhere else and I’ve never had a problem until this last experience. She did not understand what I was asking for and when I explained that my order was not what I wanted, she became very rude and obstinate with me. She told me that that’s not how I should be ordering my drink and basically chastised me even though the previous times I was there in the last few months there was no misunderstanding of what I was ordering. When she returned with the correct order, she slammed my drink down on the table which alarmed my friends as well. If you notice my history of reviews, I prefer to focus on the positive but Cindy’s behavior was unacceptable and is a bad reflection of this fine establishment. The food was good and I noticed the other servers seemed pleasant and accommodating. I understand it’s hard to find help these days and hope that she was just having a bad day and decided to take it out on me even though it was not appreciated. I’m a pretty easy going person so this took a lot for me to feel the need to share this negative experience. I would like to return as a customer as long as I don’t have this...

The server we had was awesome and the staff was running around in a very busy place, showing they cared about serving their customers. That was the highlight. The food was ok and I wouldn't plan on coming back. My wife had a burger and it was overcooked and dry. The onion rings were bland and almost seemed like they were made of plastic. She chose to get the lobster burger and you couldn't even taste the lobster or the tarragon mayo as it was drowned out by the dry patty. My son got the lobster mac-n-cheese and it needs a better cheese sauce. It just didn't have a cheese flavor. I got the Baja chicken salad and it was the best thing we ordered. The chicken had a good flavor and was moist. Unfortunately, it was cooked too quickly after being battered and the crust just flaked right off. The crisps in the salad were stale and really unnecessary. We probably should have just gotten pizza there as each one we saw looked really good. If we return, we will likely do that or...
