I have not been more displeased with the security guards who work here, and their “policies,” every year during this time specifically if you are fishing on the bridgewater channel path infront of, next to, or around kokomo’s the security will kick you out and claim its private property, however the entire rest of the year they won’t bat an eye. However, the easement they claim to own is apart of the bridgewater channel which is public. I can’t believe that the crime of fishing in a public easement is considered this heinous these days, if you refuse to leave they will call the police and trespass you. It’s sad to believe the amount of power that words, security guards, and money can grant you. I would not recommend staying here if you would like to go outback and fish because you are merely a dollar sign to whoever is in charge of criminalizing people who enjoy time on the water. They have no posted signs about these fishing polices except at the entrance of each dock they clearly state “no fishing from the docks” respectable, however when I was kicked out the security officer informed me that this sign means anyone anywhere on the concrete fishing is technically breaking this rule? in what world could a dock and a concrete walkway be the same? I can respect someone else’s property or policy, but there’s no indication of when you are “on their property” or are there any real signs notifying of real violations on said property (i.e fishing)
Regardless this place is really just after tourist dollars and doesn’t actually respect the people who frequent the channel. If whoever owns this place can give me some real information on their actual policies that’d be great, alongside an apology for being treated as a common criminal...
Read moreI recently visited this establishment with a group of friends, and it was genuinely one of the worst experiences I've ever had. On Saturday, my buddy was kicked out due to having an "insufficient ID," despite it being a real government-issued ID from the state of Utah. They wouldn't even let him sit by the pool.
The place was incredibly dirty and disorganized, with a noticeable lack of professionalism. The employees made misogynistic comments towards the women around, which was completely unacceptable. Security was a massive issue, with children unsupervised in restricted areas with alcohol.
Additionally, the place was extremely expensive for the poor quality of service provided. The customer service was abysmal, with staff being incredibly rude. The manager was particularly unprofessional and dismissive of our concerns.
Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone. Save your time and money and find somewhere else to...
Read moreThe young bartender MILEY, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I never complain about most situations and I'm a server she made me the worst watered down drink. I politely asked her to remake it and she gave me ATTITUDE. I'm just trying to enjoy my vacation from SD! Everyone has been so nice here till her she told me sorry you will have to pay for another one and couldn't make anything different and I had one sip and with her eye roll that isn't cool at all! I would of gave it 5 stars if the service wasn't so horrible! She shouldn't be a bartender if she can't give good customer service. Also we visited friends out here they work in the service industry and agreed if you didn't drink any of it then it could of easily been remade & we met a group of people who agreed Miley was very rude to them. I just...
