We visited this place on Sunday, June 18th, 2023. The food was good. The atmosphere and the views were amazing. I absolutely love how welcoming they are to all the doggies. The downfall to this place was the service provided by the server/waitress. I waited a good 35 minutes at least before realizing she would never approach our table and ask if we were in need of anything more. I finally got up to order a couple more drinks. We had already ordered, ate, and entered from the front entrance. We were told that if we needed anything after our first order at the front counter, there would be servers if we needed anything else. I waited and never was asked anything at all, so i got up to order more drinks. I asked the server if i needed to get back in line, and she asked me if i was already seated. I said yes, and then she made it sound like it was my fault because she had been in the general area already and asked "everyone" if they were good (everyone besides our table). She told me not to worry about getting back in line and that she would come back to our table and ask us what we needed/wanted. Again, we waited and waited. She specifically knew I was waiting to order, but she proceeded to ask every other table around us if they needed anything before walking away. The table next to us noticed the entire thing and ordered our drinks for us with another server nearby. It wasn't just obvious to us if the table next to us noticed. Not ONCE were we ever approached or checked on. It was obvious and upsetting enough to leave a review and let others know this is possibly the service you may receive. Just a warning that if the server is having a bad day, she may be trying to make you pay for it. We all have bad days, but this is no excuse to be rude or unkind...
Read moreI'm an autistic adult who's a picky eater, so all of my reviews on Google are for the same order: a single-patty beef burger (with just a bun, meat, cheese, and ketchup), a side of fries, and a drink of ice-cold water.
Onto the review itself: the service was the best I've ever had here. We were given a number card, we went outside to the patio area to eat (there's no indoor seating), and within three minutes our meals and drinks had arrived.
The meat, cheese, and bun were all flavorful. The meat was cooked medium (relatively charred on the outside, some pink on the inside), the bun was toasted perfectly, and the cheese melted nicely (and tasted like cheese, as it should). The water was ice-cold, and it tasted like mineral water from a spring, just like I like it.
Unfortunately, that's the end of the good.
The ketchup tasted strongly vegetable-y and less like ketchup normally does, although it was just fine on the burger. Additionally, the fries were very bland, even with the seasoning (which I'm fairly certain was just a small amount of pepper).
My partner's mushroom Swiss burger was pretty good, except for the mushrooms, which didn't taste fresh (he claims they tasted like they came out of a jar, instead of being fresh).
In summary, if you HAVE to have a burger -and- fries, I'd advise you to eat elsewhere, but if the fries are a non-issue, then this is the place for you.

Read moreOnce I figured out how to enter the restaurant I was greeted by the unexpected smell of sweet and savory kettle corn. I immediately noticed that the menu is massive and massively confusing. For the life of me I couldn’t find the fish n chips or the clam chowder, two of the menu items I’d heard others order. So yeah, right off the bat I can’t find the entrance or read the menu.
The nice gal behind the counter asked me my drink order and cracked open a Coors Light for me while I waited. Ultimately I decided on the three piece fish n chips (the pieces are large!) and was relatively pleased with my decision. The fries were just okay, honestly.
The patio view was pleasant, and the staff were very attentive and kind, coming by a few times to check in on me, which was appreciated. Maybe a couple of big arrows and signs saying “Entrance This Way” would be helpful, because the entrance and exit, in my mind, are intuitively backwards. And a menu that goes so far as to have chowder, ribs, burgers, salads, kettle corn, etc, just seems too desperate in its attempt to please every picky-ass tourist who...
