Well, the colonel would turning in his grave if he knew what was going on here. I always reckon that the KFC experince in my country leaves something to be desired but this just takes the cake:
So I go in and place an order with the incredibly disinterested staff member and right before he rings the order up I change my mind about which combo I want. The new order is more expensive than the initial order and contains 3 pieces of chicken. The transaction takes place. I ask for the extra crispy option but am told that they don't have any. That's fine no probs. I see a bit of talking and staff standing around doing nothing. Then after a few minutes the staff member leans across the counter and says that they only have a drum. I say that's fine thinking that the other two pieces that I have ordered will be something else. Finally my order is flung at me. Yes, flung at me and the staff member walks off. I hang about trying to catch his attention but he's having none of it. Finally another customer comes in so he has to return to the counter. All I wanted was a cup for my drink that came with the combo. This too was flung at me without so much as a sorry. So I get home open up my meal to find just one drumstick as the chicken component!!

And the moral of the story is that wherever you are in the world always check your KFC order before you leave the store because it's endemic KFC staff...
Read moreThis was a horrible experience. I chose to spend over $100.00 for my birthday meal from here. I placed the order online. It was supposed to be ready at 6:30. We arrived at 6:25 and there was a long line for drive thru. We called multiple times for curbside and the phone continued to ring busy. After waiting in line for 20 min. My wife glanced in the bags, and it looked like we had the right amount of containers. So we left. I asked her to make sure it was right on the way home and she realized we did not have our slaw. We turned around and went back. Of course, still a long line. No one will respond at the doors, phone still ringing busy, we go back through the line. We get to the speaker and let them know we went through with the big order and they forgot our slaw. THE LADY SAID, WE DIDN'T FORGET, WE ARE OUT, SO WE GAVE YOU EXTRA MASHED POTATOES. WHAT???? Who thinks that is OK? They didn't tell us or give us an option, they just decided how I was going to spend my money! Then because there was no way to contact them other than drive thru we waited another 23 min. in line while all of our food was getting cold. They did give us some corn in place of the slaw and gave us some fresh wedges to replace our now 45 min old ones. By the time the food got home, it had been over an hour for most of it. We will not return to the Lake Havasu City KFC. Poor Service,...

Updated 2/23/23 The past 3 times we've gone, the employees were dorking around on the speaker, moaning between our orders, switching between female & male voices, and as I can appreciate a fun work environment, I can only appreciate it when the job is getting done. Past 3 times our orders have been wrong. So I ordered through Doordash this time, and KFC confirmed my order. 15 minutes later my Doordash driver calls and says the app says my food is ready for pickup, but all the teenagers working locked all the doors and ran to the back to hide (8:32pm.) Not only is this very unprofessional, but a waste of this man's time trying to work delivering food. We've been watching this KFC go downhill for the past year....
