Now for years and years Lou Malnati's has been a North Side Chicago Pizzeria. Now as a Southsider And An Avid Pizza Partaker Lou had sought and found the oppty. For a SouthSide Restaurant, Nestlé ON the Cusp OF Garfield Ride Bedford Park, but conveniently located near the Rising Hotel Chains just a few blocks from Midway Airport you will find Lou Malnati's Right on the corner of 65th & Cicero Ave. Parking is limited however car pooling or Ubering with your dinner party etc;, wld. Be my best suggestion. I love the Atmosphere with its rustic meets modern industrial art style reminds me of og lofts of the north side with high ceiling room and lots of arm space. Now,the Menu is very simplistic and straight to the point. American Faire meets Italiano Siciliano and yes even Calabrese foods. Everyone's pallette for taste is different but the Sicilian in me always compares to NONI'S homemade foods. Don't go in there with that mindset or you'll deprive yourself of some newsworthy appetizers and dinner options. Did I mention it's more then pizza???? Yep, just did!!😉😉😁 their food is incredible from the pizza to pastas they aim to please and want to create longevity with their customers. Like most pizza places now there's only a select few that offer that dine in experience, I highly suggest making the time while your in town on business or pleasure and staying at one of the many hotels across the way or your a Local who is just tired of tacos and torts every other day. Chicago's pizza is second to none just like our city. Stop in at Lou's tell em UNCLE PAULY SENT YA!!! THAT GOOGLE GUIDE FROM THE SOUTHSIDE!!! PLEASE SHARE YOUR DINE IN EXPERIENCE WITH ME LOVE TO HEAR YOUR REVIEW. Now in the Italian language I just wanna say Mangia!!!!!!! EAT UP HAVE SOME WINE AND ENJOY YOUR TIME!! Memories are...

Valet was way overstaffed and I spent my dinner watching the five of them mess around in the parking lot for the entire dinner. In one instance a guy got out and tossed them the keys, I guess they didn't like it because they left his car right where he left it with the drivers door wide open for three or four minutes, just kind of snickering at the sight of it.
The real issue I had with this place was the food. I ordered a personal pizza with the buttercrust that the waitress said Lou's was known for. Pizza took 39 minutes to arrive, when it did it was tiny. Maybe enough to keep a child full. What really bothered me is that the pizza was just plain terrible.
There was no cheese at all on top, it was below a thick layer of sauce. Looking at the pizza it looks like a tortilla bowl of liquid sauce. So of course the sauce just slips right off the smooth layer of cheese. The sauce had good flavor but the sausage topping had chewy knots in it. The crust was what ruined the pizza. I ordered the "thick crust" but the crust was about as thin as 2 or 3 nickels stacked throughout. It was a stale kind of crunchy and at the edges of the "deep dish" pizza where it curled up vertical, it was stiff and tasted like an unsalted cracker. The crust was truly truly awful. I came here because I heard the pizza was good and it was genuinely an uncomfortable and unpleasant experience to try to down at least half the pizza I paid for. I'm not the type to post negative reviews but seriously this may have been the worst pizza I've ever had. I was wishing it was a day old reheated frozen pizza. Dessert was fantastic. Come here for the atmosphere and other food, but don't...
Read moreThis passed Saturday February 24, my family and I went to try to have a good family (my wife, my two kids and myself) time at this location, we got there around 3:30 pm and we got sat down nearly all the way to the back of the restaurant, and then it took the server about 20 minutes to even get to our table and ask for what we wanted to drink, once he came with the drinks he dropped them off and only had 2 straws only, then we ordered our appetizers which where good however he didn’t even brought silverware or napkins, so we had to ask for the silverware, this person just literally threw the silverware wrapped on the napkins on the table, then he took our pizza order around 4:10pm so we sat there for a whole hour and then he didn’t even check on us after he dropped the appetizers, after the whole hour of waiting he came out of the kitchen rushing out with our pizza which it ended on the floor, but what made this worse was after he dropped our food on the floor he came to our table after 10 minutes this had happened and gave my family and me the stupidest and most unprofessional excuse saying, “ accidents happen and in 100 years I been here this had never happened to me… etc etc” what kind of apology is this? I felt humiliated for the fact that everyone’s family was having no issues but my family and I had a really bad time, I’m 100 sure that in 100 years I’ll never go back to this location or even go back to buying from them, it might not mean anything but this made my family and me very disappointed in a restaurant that has to be an...
