So, I've been going to this restaurant since I was 5 or 7 yrs of age...Well, I am a helluva a lot older now ...This was the spot for all of our momma's to hit on a Friday night or after work...As time has gone on there aren't many of them left, but as for me, I was in the area and figured why not...
It did not disappoint...My server, Nikki was great...She really did a good of job of serving my food as well as listening to my stories of going there as a kid...
I ordered the Turkey Club sandwich...It was damn tasty...Just the right mixture of textures and flavors combining for a perfect sandwich...Yummy french fries and Coleslaw...In addition, I also had the Rose marina soup and it was incredible...The only knock would be that the bread they gave me with the soup could have been a bit more fresh...
The place was very clean, that I could see and the rest of the staff was very friendly...Pricing was in line with most restaurants of this type as well...
They updated the inside since I had been here last and it looked very cozy...It was a nice decor...
The previous owner I had remembered has since passed away, but I was told the cook had now purchased the business...From the looks of it he's doing a great job...
It's been years if not decades since I was here last and I'll try and not let that happen again...The nostalgia was nice to experience as well as great service and great food...
I'll be back and thanks...
Read moreAlexander's is a smaller, cozy home-like diner with good food and great value. My boyfriend and I stopped in on a Saturday around 3:30pm craving a much-needed breakfast / brunch style meal (thank goodness they are open until 4:00pm!) Even half an hour before closing there was a pretty solid amount of customers - Seems like it might be a regular haunt of the neighborhood.
California and Mexican Skillets were wonderful - the only issue being the salsa and tortillas that were listed were not included with the latter - but after asking our waitress she fixed the issue and gave us them extra in addition to a side of pancakes. Very solid place with a relaxing diner vibe (sitting near the kitchen and hearing sizzling and cooking pans while sipping coffee was such a morning ASMR feeling). The restaurant also has a (very) small parking lot in the back with free parking for customers - and street parking is available otherwise. Overall good place for breakfast and...
Read moreAlexander's restaurant is an excellent Family Restaurant. I don't know how long it's been in business because I only recently discovered it but I love the place. The service is great, the food is great, the cooks are great. I give it 5 Stars. It's a small little compact place and occasionally you have to wait in line near the door in order to get a table or booth or you can sit at the counter. But it's worth the wait. Know that the restaurant usually closes at 4pm so you got to get there no later than 3. When I went this Fourth of July they closed at 3 for the holidays. I love their breakfast. I've never been disappointed. My girlfriend took me there the first time.. Then I brought my husband. Next I brought my sister. Then my husband again. And finally my girlfriend I went back again for the holidays. Take a tip from me and make sure to check it out. They may be a little pricey but it's worth it. And I will go back again and...
