Dunkin' — Restaurant in Lake View Township

I normally have an ok experience here, but I wanted to make people aware of something that happened a few weeks ago. I placed an order for an iced coffee and the food item that I order quite frequently from another Dunkin donuts over in Ravenswood. I mention Ravenswood to express the fact that I know how this food order is prepared what it looks like and how it's normally cooked. This time however when I pulled up to get my order let's just say the two women that were providing the order we're not professionally friendly as other employees have been in the past. As I received my food order, one of the women was staring at me with a very odd smirking look, staring at me directly n then started laughing. I really could care less how someone looks at me, but I just thought her focus was odd n wondered if something was going on with the food I received. When I pulled around the corner I stopped to check my order, it was correct but food was ice cold and the volume of food provided, was significantly reduced. I realized they had more than likely been eating this order and thought it was funny to give the remains to me. Worst location with worse service, inattentive staff is never in the front of the store resulting in waits even when the store is empty. Almost none of the staff speak enough English to understand a simple order of “iced coffee cream no sugar”. They also drown coffee in cream, Ive gotten too much cream even when specifying “light cream,” and the idea of “no sugar” seems beyond their comprehension. I would never in my life trust them to make food or prepare an even slightly more complex espresso beverage. I once spent 10+ minutes explaining the concept of a pint of ice cream to one of these guys, he kept asking “how many scoops,” for Christ’s sake you’re running a business, find people who can actually take orders. The whole location should just close to be honest. Only good workers are two younger guys who actually understand the customers, but they’re barely ever there. Seems like the owner simply hires his friends or family without any concern for their actual ability to do the job, which explains why they’re always in the back of the store talking up a storm while ignoring the very audible bell that signals when a...

This Dunkin SUCKS! Do not go here unless you want to be given whatever drink they feel like making that is not what you ordered. I decided to give this Dunkin a shot because it’s conveniently on my way to work and the 3 times I went here my order has been wrong and the coffee is disgusting. Today I ordered a spiced cookie iced coffee and I was given an iced pumpkin coffee at the window. I told the lady this isn’t what I ordered and proceeded to show her what I asked for and she’s telling me that’s a hot coffee. So I show her again how it says iced coffee and she goes that’s a cold brew. I said I don’t want a cold brew I just want this spiced cookie iced coffee im not sure what the comprehension disconnect was but I was then given a nasty cold brew. Waste of money and time.
