Poke Gu — Restaurant in Lake View Township

We visited Poke Gu for an early business dinner, I was impressed with our experience. We stumbled upon this small quick serve style poke restaurant after visiting a nearby ramen spot that only had pork broth, and some of us don't eat pork. Fortunately, Poke Gu offered a delicious alternative that satisfied everyone's dietary preferences.

The first thing We noticed was how cute and clean the restaurant is. The minimalist decor, featuring light wood accents, creates a calming atmosphere that's perfect for a quick meal.

One of the highlights of Poke Gu is the window bar with four chairs, which provides a perfect spot for dining in and people watching.

But let's talk about the food. Poke Gu specializes in poke bowls, which are a Hawaiian dish that typically consists of rice, raw fish, and vegetables.

I ordered a three protein bowl with Unami, and 7 toppings all served on a bed of white rice and mixed greens.

I love Poke Gu so much! I live really close and get it at least once a week. They are very generous with portion sizes for a great cost.
