I went 9/28. It was after midnight (technically 9/29). The young lady manning the front was very unprofessional. Instead of packing bags or doing anything productive, she felt the need to argue with her coworkers while THEY were hustling to get orders out. Then as she was going on break, she was harassing one of them for a lighter while they were still trying to actually work. The customers prior to us told me they had been waiting 40 minutes for their order. There were only a few of us in the lobby, so no one could say it was crowded. I could understand that they were working on a skeleton crew, but one of the bones were broken. Each customer that would verbally complain to get their order (some cursing), would get their order immediately. This was no matter who paid first. I finally had to speak up because people that came after me were getting their food. And it wasn't from the young lady! The cook had to jump in while she was standing there looking lost and give people their food. Read moreSo, I've tried to come here twice. The first time the lobby was closed (it would be nice if the hours indicated that, or if there were literally any signs up), and the second... Well, it's late at night and there's a line! Totally normal, not worried about that at all. I sit at the speaker for a few minutes and no one says anything, so I figure I'm supposed to just pull forward and order at the window. I pull up and say to the person working "hey there wasn't a response at the speaker so I just pulled forward--" at this point I was going to explain that my order wasn't in yet so she wouldn't think I was the guy behind me (who I heard order), but she literally would not let me finish. She just kept giving reasons why it was fine that they hadn't answered and WE'RE BUSY and would not let me just explain that I hadn't ordered yet so I'd have to order at the window. It was infuriating. I ended up just driving away because she wouldn't stop explaining long enough to hear me say literally one sentence. Read moreIt really only takes one bad incident to ruin a place for you permanently. I was definitely enjoying the 1921 Sliders the last few weeks, not really big on White Castle, but these were good for a quick lunch on my break. Unfortunately today, I saw a staff member make my sliders and watched as they let the buns of my burger touch a used Brillo scrubbing pad and put it back on and put in the box for bagging. I asked for them to remake another, but as I sat waited for them to replace it, it grossed me the hell out thinking that if I hadn't seen it for myself they would have passed the slider off to me like nothing. I lost my appetite and then asked to cancel my order and get a refund. One of the regular employees who was usually pretty cool, then proceeded to yell and scold me for "wasting food". I held my ground and explained what happened and got my refund. Anyway, this was an eye opening experience for me and I will not be coming back. I just don't trust the cleanliness anymore and it's a shame because its close to work and home and decent for a fast...
