I walked to place my order and as usual, the cashier is never at the registers. I am not sure what he is doing but every time I go there, he comes out after I have been there for at least 10 minutes. Today was no different and I so I proceeded to the kiosk as always since their cashier is always missing. I entered my order on the kiosk and then I was prompted to insert, swipe, or tap my card. I did but the kiosk was not working and the other kiosk had been removed. Finally, after trying several times the cashier comes to the front only because there was a line of at least 5 or so people behind me patiently waiting. He signals to the lady behind me that he would take her order. I said, "excuse me, the kiosk is not working." He responds, "yeah, its been broken all day." WTH! NO sign, no...."can I help you? The kiosk isn't working." I complained to him that I went to the kiosk because he never came out and he obviously didn't care and never bothered to help me knowing the kiosk didn't work. Read moreThis was my first time at the drive through in Lake Zurich. The customer service was lacking. The boy working the window was very curt and condescending. I won’t use each example, just one. I ordered my coffee, first time ever ordering coffee via Panera drive through. After I ordered, I asked if he could provide cream and sugar and his response to me was “Do you want cream and sugar?” I said yes I do (didn’t I just say that? I thought). His response was “then I’ll add cream and sugar.” His tone, it’s all about tone, was demeaning and snarky. That is just one example of my entire experience. Needless to say, I don’t think that boy should be working the window or have any interaction with people. My visit was on 6/4/22 between 10:15-10:30 am just in case management actually reads these. Read moreMost horrible experience. This is the 2nd time happening with me at this location. Before they just made the sandwich with a different bread than the order without confirming with me. Now, I had a confirmation of my order being ready and when I reached to pick up, I was told that they ran out of bread and were waiting for me to confirm if they can use bagels to make my sandwich. How is that even possible when I received an email of order completion and ready for pick up email.
The associates and the manager were lying on my face and gave me an option to cancel my order or make the sandwich on a bagel bread. This was at 8:23 PM CST when I was there to pick up dinner for my family. Asked them to cancel. Very rude and in-compassionate, not worthy of my money spent for them. It is 11:11 PM CST when I am writing this review and there is no cancellation email of the order. I am not sure what was going on...
