The Joinery is a Lakeland must try!! The location is situated with beautiful lake views. The parking lot has enough overflow parking that will meet capacity for the location. The location has a dog friendly back patio with a green strip, front patio seating and plenty of indoor seating. Seating can accommodate small groups of 1-2 people or even larger groups with tables available that seat up to 10 and options in between. They had lots of high chairs available to accommodate children. Although there’s not “a lot for kids to do” it is kid friendly with the atmosphere and wide location. To note, We did come for a late lunch so I could see a late evening or event it may not be the most kid friendly as it’s very popular but don’t let that deter you because the food is AMAZING. We ordered the pork gyoza, Zukku Dumplings, edamame and Dynamite Poke bowl from ATO .. The Tonkotsu Ramen, honey chicken bun and strawberry fruity milk boba tea from Sabu .. two chicken sandwiches and orders of fries from the super duper spot .. and a variety of waffle cones from Mayday Ice-cream. All I can say is, WOW! Absolutely everything was fantastic. To start, the service at each location was impeccable. They were clear and concise in taking the orders and explaining next steps for when your order would be completed. The food at each location was made fresh, it came out steaming hot, it was flavorful, breaded or baked well. Everything was seasoned to perfection. Some items were a little pricey but you are paying for more than just the experience, the value is in the taste and quality of the food you are receiving. Let’s just say, we came with a large party and empty belly’s. Left with extremely happy tastebuds that have not been this happy in so long, along with some major food babies! We can’t wait...
Read moreThe bartenders were rude as anyone I have ever encountered. They asked me to leave my seat at the bar, and stand in line, mind it I am sitting at the bar drinking the beer I paid for and tipped for. Will never return to this brewery!
Most of the 3+ reviews on this business are for the food!
As stated in your own response, “ Our bar seats are for those who are sitting at the bar, and the cue is for those ordering drinks and sitting throughout The Joinery. Our bartenders were right in not serving walk up guests outside of the cue. ”
We sat down at the bar, we were waited on by the tall dark haired bartender, who was very polite and helpful. He never once told us we had to go stand in the cue. We then walked around to check the place out. I returned to my seat at the bar, because I currently have back issues. I was finishing my drink that I paid and tipped for, and never asked for the bartenders to help me in any way. I was then approached by short male bartender (with a beanie) and asked to leave my seat and Return to the cue. I was not ordering another drink so no reason to return to cue. I was simply finishing the drink I already paid for. These same comments were then followed up by rude blond female bartender. She was rude from the moment we sat down and were working with the first bartender. She dumped a huge bucket of ice right in front of us very loudly. She instructed us not to touch the fruit as garnishments, which was a fake pineapple. Garnishments SHOULD NOT be sitting on the bar, and should be washed before using on someone’s drink.
As you can tell, your reply is not worth the time you wrote it. We will NEVER return or recommend.

Our usual dinner spot was closed so we decided to stop by The Joinery and oh my goodness, how have I not been here sooner?
First of all, the interior decor is a VIBE. It's industrial, rustic, and just the right amount of modern comfort. I was obsessed. I think I took a million and one photos #sorrynotsorry
Enough with the atmosphere though. The food is the prize piece of this joint.
You have BBQ, Ramen, Ice Cream, Burgers, Poke, and more. Plus, a full bar with creative cocktails and loads of craft beer.....my fave 🥰
The bartender was a gem. She was super sweet and ultra-attentive. I already knew what I wanted before I sat down so there wasn't too much back and forth.
My boyfriend and I shared a sushi burrito from Ato. It. Was. DELISHHHHH. There was plenty of fillings and it wasn't just loaded up with rice.
Oh, and it may have contained the largest piece of asparagus I've ever seen. 🤷♀️
We also got the Crab Rangoon (because how can you pass that up) and you could tell it wasn't just frozen junk. They served it with a BOMB sauce. Sweet, spicy, and addictive. I could have drank it out of the ramekin...but I controlled myself!
There wS nothing going on the night we went but they have trivia and bingo nights along with other fun stuff you can do while you sip and nibble.
For those who WFH and want to get out, there are plenty of outlets available and cozy nooks to...
