TLDR; Go to i5 pho instead.
I ordered through their site(1 pork banh mi, 1 coconut bubble tea, and 2 orders of shrimp spring rolls) and got a possible 30min wait notification. Despite no update on the online order tracker, I went in after an hour to pick up(store closes at 7 and I went in at 6:05pm) but the order wasn’t ready, so I confirmed my name and order with the clerk and said I’d come back in an half hour. Returned at 6:52pm for my order(it’s been almost 2 hours at this point) and the lady running the store is surprised to see me. I explained I was there earlier for a pick-up order. It seemed as though she may have given it away(?), or thought she had given me my order and so didn’t bother to actually make it. The store is supposed to close at 7pm , so she says to wait an additional 10mins and she’ll have it ready then. While waiting I noticed that the menu items in-store are listed as 1$ dollar cheaper than their site, so if you decide to go just place your order inside. She ended up giving me a smoothie rather than a bubble tea, but at that point it’s 7:22pm and I just want to leave. The spring rolls had shrimp which hadn’t been cleaned properly, and the peanut sauce was over-blended and tasted a little off compared to other places. That woman needs help! My pal who lives in the adjacent apt building says that location is never busy, but perhaps the online orders are overwhelming? I also tipped ahead of time which I now regret. Please figure out a better set up for your Lakewood location and get them help. The 2 star rating is simply because 1. the clerk was polite, and 2. the banh mi was decent. I’ve never had a terrible experience at i5 pho which I...
Read moreThe first time I went here a couple weeks ago the lady was sweet and really knew what she was doing. The shrimp rolls were fresh and amazing. The pho was perfect. This time there was two women in there who wandered around like they were lost. I asked for no onion and got extra onion all up in my bowl. I take it to go for my elderly mother to enjoy and it was so salty I might as well be licking a salt block. My mother will probably have to take twice the bp meds. All the basil and vegetables were stuffed in the bottom of the bowl with a handful of noodles. The shrimp rolls were not fresh and the lemongrass beef had no lemongrass very little overcooked beef and a big wad of salad thrown on top that was soggy and wilted from the hot meat. The rice was clumpy balls. So sad it was so good the first time and total crap this time. I ordered online or just by the mess and smell in the restaurant I would have turned around and walked out. I don’t usually write negative reviews but whoever you were in there tonight you will destroy this business. Total waste of $50 and I...
Read moreWe were excited to try Fresh Rolls but walked out feeling disappointed. It took half of an hour to get our salads, then after we were done eating them, another 30 minutes to get our appetizer, the spring rolls. The quality of food is mediocre and the portion is small as compared to other Pho restaurants. The salads were served in plastic disposable boxes but there was not a recycling can where we can recycle the boxes after we ate. The person that made and served our food was sick with a running nose. We love Vietnamese food but this one was the longest wait and had the worst service we have ever had. I paid for the food and tip first when we ordered but received...
