Weird and pretentious. We looked up arcades in Lakewood, after having dinner in the area with our toddler. When we walked in, we realized it was more of a bar than an arcade, but settled on playing a few games before going home. I got one drink, while my son and boyfriend played, and closed out my tab. As the parking meter was about to expire around 730p.m. and we were getting ready to leave, we were given dirty looks and told that it was 21 and over after 5p.m. I don't see why it was necessary to make us uncomfortable and ruin our evening; when mistakes are bound to occur at an arcade\bar called "the arcade," my son was clearly not drinking, and we were obviously not staying long. I wouldn't go back, even if I was actually looking for a bar or if it was the right hours to just play games, after being treated like a pariah for purchasing a drink and putting money in the machines with my family at...

The games are really close to one another so when a friend and I were playing a two person game, there wasn't enough space for anyone to play on the cabinets on either side of us. The "pay for play" model was a little problematic because they didn't have an in-house atm when I went, so I had to go to the bank to get money and ask one of the bartenders to break a 20 so I can then put it in the change machine to get quarters. That was kind of a pain. I am going to go again, hopefully the kinks are worked out...
