This is a fairly small place with mainly larger tables and so not too many seats for people to dine in (unless you want to bump elbows with a stranger). I have been going there every day for my lunch hour this past week and always see people sitting at the tables on their laptops. That’s fine if it’s just a coffee shop but when you serve actual food you need to be able to provide a place for people to dine in (if dine in is an option). It’s truly frustrating for me to have to spend a decent amount of money for my meal and not be able to sit down and eat because 4-5 tables are taken by people on their laptops who are probably drinking the same coffee that they were an hour ago.
If it were up to me (I know it isn’t) I would put a time limit for dining. A reasonable time limit but this would prevent people from just using up space that they really don’t need but that others do.
I also know that I am not the only customer who feels this way. Every time I go there (while in line/waiting for my food) I constantly glance around the room hoping for someone to leave so that I can sit and eat. I’ve noticed that other customer’s in line do this as well. It’s a lot of frustration for everyone who is waiting for a table to have to just stand there are stare at others who aren’t even eating/drinking coffee but instead are on their computers.
So my recommendation is that time limits be set to ensure that all customers have a chance to sit and enjoy their meal. This will prevent those on their laptops from...
Read moreReview of Rental Space: Earlier this month my baby shower was hosted at the Atrium. We selected this space due to the beautiful greenery of live plants and tastefully decorated decor. Seating comfortably accommodated ~40 guests, with room for a drink station, appetizers, and a table provided for the food spread. Mikayla was a pleasure to work with, from coordinating the space, inquiring about dates/availability and pricing, and continued communication as the event neared. She was prompt in her response time and provided clarity if any questions/concerns arose. The staff the day of were present to allow the hosts in to decorate, but did not intervene or awkwardly hang around. They re-appeared for clean up and were friendly and courteous. The space did become a little warm with 40 people + it being a hot day, but otherwise there were no complaints. I was even given a thank you card with a token of appreciation inside - gift cards to return to any New Holland Coffee Co location. If you're looking for a venue space for any type of shower, get together, or small party, I'd recommend the Atrium (and the main...
Read moreFood- Creamy chicken wrap was great. Grilled, large portion, served with yummy pickle and chips. Spinach inside, i think it would have been better not cooked or else it gives a slimy taste. Apple Cheese Danish toasted is a must! Ask for a fork if they have one.
Drinks- London Fog is definitely the reason why it's a favorite. Cafe au lait, it's supposed to be dripped coffee but taste was undefined. I would use a strong bold coffee like Cafe du monte.
Service- Very sweet, knowledgeable, organized, and highly attentive. Water pitcher needed refilling but understood based on amount of customers.
Atmosphere is very inviting with decor. I didn't quite love the long hightop in the middle. A huge family sat their and for some reason it made me think they were more superior... also I can hear all of the family issues, maybe because it echoes. Idk.. I thought it was just me but then I noticed everyone who sat by themselves quickly left as their conversation got louder.
Overall, do come for affordable food and drinks. Sit by the window to soak in the sun and watch bypassers. It did remind...
