Queen Grocery & Deli — Restaurant in Lancaster

I went to this corner store yesterday after a 40 minute walk yesterday, and it’s safe to say I was disappointed.

Everything here is practically double the price of the things you’d find as the corner store across the street from Jackson Elementary. That would be fine normally if the lady at the counter wasn’t looking for every reason to charge you extra.

I brought my dog here because he was on the walk with me. Some lady at the counter was talking loudly on the phone the entire time I was trying to get my things scanned. I bought 2 empanadas and 2 drinks and it came out to nearly 10 bucks! I got a water and I asked her if she had a cup, she said I could grab one of the styrofoam ones she uses for coffee and she charged me 50 cents for the cup, putting it under “snacks”! Then, even AFTER I was way over the $5 minimum to avoid getting the card fee, she charged me 50 cents for using a card! I’d rather walk another mile to a better corner store than...

They have many things that the customer needs and wants to purchase such as food, household supplies, bathroom supplies, cook food,and other items..They do not deliver, you have walked to purchase anything that they have and sell. They are friendly and generous people that work there. They assist people with the gentle and easy ways with the verbal and non verbal communication with all customers. Incredibly inexpensive, giant sub for $8 with TONS of meat (tripleta) - fresh sliced meat and cheese by order.

Amazing variety and quality of other items - fresh lusciano bakery baked goods.

Staff is so nice - slices off piece of sub and handed it to me while I was waiting for the order :) great vibe.

Be sure to stop here when you’re in the area - heads and shoulders above typical sub chains / delis.
