I absolutely love this place. The food is so delicious! We ordered the samosas & fish bastilla to start. Both were very tasty. I highly recommend ordering the Bastilla. I would have been satisfied with this on its own! We also had the Chicken Tangine, & Eggplant with Parmesan & Béchamel sauce. It was my first time having the chicken dish and it too was full of deliciousness! I’m glad I tried something new. The chicken was so tender, the olives & preserved lemon gave the dish incredible flavor. The eggplant dish is hands down the best eggplant I’ve ever eaten! I could eat it every day. We had a traditional hibiscus tea to drink. I’ve had hibiscus many times before, but this one has a unique herbaceous sweet tart flavor. It was a perfect refreshing complement to our food. We were full but ordered some homemade baklava to take with us. It is delicious and unlike any I’ve had before. It is sweet , light & flaky. I will definitely order it again.

The beautiful outdoor dining area with its view of the Conestoga River is a great way to relax & enjoy your dinner. It was a little chilly when we went but the dine in setting is so cozy. The owner made sure we were comfortable & well taken care of. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. Flavors of Morocco is a feast for your senses! Call them and reserve your time to dine, you will be glad you did!

They do offer take out service as well, that I will be using often. The bastille & salads would make a great lunch or...

My wife and I had an absolutely amazing dining experience tonight, overlooking the Conestoga River while enjoying some of the best Middle Eastern food we've ever had. Tonight was the final night of outdoor dining for "Flavors of Morocco" while they close their current location for upgrades and renovations, and while the head chef, whom you can watch prepare your food through her kitchen window, takes a work vacation to gather more food, supplies, and, one may assume, inspiration for even more outstanding recipes.

The feature on the menu tonight was "The Moroccan Experience", and what an experience it was. The beet, carrot, and eggplant salads were exquisite. The naan and baba ganoush had just the right texture and consistency, the samosas had the perfect ratio of filling to pastry, the chicken was so tender it fell off the bone, the baklava was the ideal balance of sweet and savory, and even the teas were divine.... Fermented hibiscus? Wow!

I seriously cannot recommend this place highly enough! What a fantastic experience. Even though we only traveled to Willow Street (right outside of Lancaster), the exotic food and bucolic setting transported us to another place altogether.

And even though the very friendly staff of only three people (including the chef) was busy all night - every table was filled - the service was impeccable.

What an honor and privilege to feast at The Flavors of Morocco! We got the Mother's Day Special: a smorgasbord cacophony of taste, aroma, every food group, color and visual delights. The photo shows "only" appetizers? Samosa, multiple dips, savory flaked pastries, yogurt, salad. Never before had I imagined how a mango lassi (mango & yogurt smoothie) and a Hibiscus tea potion would be like imbibing liquid love - MUST HAVE IT! Off camera we next dutifully dined on delectable orange rice w/ spices, And melt-in-your-mouth lamb shank. Dessert was mint tea, baklava, and a surprise Mother's sculpture with mini cake, macaroon, grape, flower and creme. I had to be rolled away... This was my first sit-down at a restaurant, albeit outdoors, since the pandemic began. Over the past 15 months, I can count on less than 10 fingers the number of takeouts I had. And we didn't travel during the pandemic... But now, it's only a short drive to Lancaster's new Secret Garden, The Flavors of Morocco. You will indulge in a newfound fantasy of your exotic journey to the Mediterranean Sea, to Marrakesh. The gracious chef, is a culinary artist, your sherpa to the Mount Everest summit of Mid-Eastern flavor. (Sure, a takeout order will taste just as good, but the presentation in the veranda overlooking dreamy Conestoga River is out of...

My wife and I visited on a hot summer evening and sat outdoors under a canopy of genuine Moroccan lanterns and tapestries. We were greeted by one of the owners, and he brought us waters, menus and made fantastic recommendations for appetizers. We had a sampler of the samosas, naan bread with babaganoush and chicken bastilles. Everything is homemade, including the wonderful hibiscus tea which was refreshing and delicious and was a fantastic compliment to our tasty appetizers. For our main course we each had the Chicken Tagine and the various salads that accompany it. If you read through the reviews here, you'll see many raving about the Chicken Tagine and I'm here to tell you that it's all true and it still doesn't do this dish justice! The saffron and lemon flavor the chicken perfectly and the meat simply falls off the bone. We finished our meals with a pot of Moroccan mint tea, as our friendly host recommended it in lieu of dessert.( we were absolutely stuffed!) In summary, Flavors of Morrocco is an absolute gem, the husband and wife duo that run this labor of love restaurant are the best combination of a friendly, welcoming host and a magnificent chef! We can not wait until the owners' plans for the future that he shared with us come to fruition. We will most definitely be returning soon!

13 members of our Central PA foodies visited Flavors of Morocco for A “Moroccan Night “ and filled out a survey after the event, here is the summary: - Food Taste: 5 Stars - Event Vibe: 5 Stars - Service/Staff: 5 Stars - Price Range for the event: Pricy but 100% worth it - When asked if they would come back again: All our members replied " Yes, of course" -It was a phenomenal experience , authentic Moroccan tents, decoration, outdoors space with a breath taking river view. Great hospitality and lovely Arabic music and dancing. - The food was very delicious and included 5 courses, we started with stuffed dates and many other appetizers including the Zaatar bread, spicy hummus and mini samosas. Our 2nd course was 3 layers massive plate of different salads selection followed by 3rd course of the sea food bastilla which was super filling. We took a break to walk around, dance and take pictures and then we had our main course the 'Lamb Shank" waiting for us, which I have never tasted a very tender and flavorful lamb like this Moroccan lamb. The last part of our experience was the dessert and the authentic Moroccan tea which were both out of this world. A must-try: The Hibiscus drink and the Lamb shank. We loved it and we can't wait to come back again. Thank you Bushra!

When we pulled up in the driveway we weren’t quite sure if we were in the right place. We parked and walked down into a beautiful Moroccan paradise! Outdoor seating only (covered) and located on their property, Flavors of Morocco is an absolute diamond in the rough! The coveted seating area is draped in colorful and inviting decor. For our appetizer, tried the mini potato samosas and mini naan with baba ghanoush. The samosas were cooked perfectly and paired well with the yogurt sauce. We loved the spices on top of the mini non-breads and the baba ghanough was flavorful and soooo good!! For our main course, I had the tandoori chicken and my husband had the Moroccan chicken. We both absolutely loved our meals. The sides of organic carrots, organic beet salad, and Moroccan style eggplant (Zaalouk), paired so well with the rice and chicken. Everything was so flavorful and seasoned well. The family works together and made our first experience wonderful! We have zero complaints. You got to give this place a try if you love Indian/Moroccan food. And even if you don’t, give it a try! You’ll be amazed!!
