Dominion Pizza — Restaurant in Lancaster

Dominion’s Pizzeria has been in Lancaster for a long time and they do a lot of service to the community. Since expanding on there beer options at the Columbia Avenue location they have become one of the best places to pick up craft beer last-minute. If you have any questions about beers and would like to try something unique they have staff that is highly knowledgeable and they are involved with the ordering of different varieties so a lot of times you can get unique beer unavailable in most places. They’re constantly cycling through new styles and the prices are extremely reasonable there draft selection is also tops.

They have a lot of daily specials that makes feeding a lot of people extremely affordable. Unfortunately, as with a lot of pizzerias, there are so many different styles of pizza that if someone gets a pizza that’s not “their pizza”, they may be disappointed (same with the steaks).

Personally, I like a nice toasty pizza with a substantial crust; someone who’s interested in a tortilla flat pizza and doesn’t like any sort of a golden-browness will likely be disappointed. Their sauce is not sweet (my preference) and the mozzarella is of good quality.

I regularly go here and will likely remain a patron for a long time because this place has a lot of integrity and although I have experienced error, I have never left dissatisfied. I am a hardworking individual who has a value for the dollars I earn, so when I dine I expect a certain level of professionalism and quality. I’ve worked many years in restaurants and can easily cook my own meals, so I’m a person with culinary knowledge not just someone who dines out regularly; I go to save myself trouble.

Any time I have ever had any sort of issue it had been resolved to my complete satisfaction and I have never had an experience with the staff that left me...

Called for delivery was told 40-45min. Food was delivered 1 1/2 hours after ordered. We had to call back to say our order was wrong. After being told that's what we ordered I read back to order sheet attached with my receipt and described the pizza we received they told us it would be remade and delivered and to keep the other pizza for free. Mistakes happen so it wasn't a big deal at first. Except, after 2 hours and still no pizza we called them back at this point very frustrated and they said oh we lost the ticket. It then took another hour before we finally had our correct order. Total time before my family could eat what we actually ordered was 4 1/2 hours. The poor delivery guy was like I am so sorry about all of it. Thanks for being sorry but you will not have this families...

This place is a nightmare. Go to the Dominion on Columbia, which is VERY different.

The woman behind the counter at the register - nightmare. The loud music set at 11, in the very small storefront - nightmare. The guy (cook?) eating customer food as he closes up their take-out containers - nightmare. Timing of orders to be picked up....add 10 minutes to whenever they tell you your food is supposed to be ready, then you'll only have to wait 5 minutes. (NIGHTMARE)

While we're at it - someone should probably call the Dept of Health. I'm pretty confident behind the line is a ...nightmare.

I know the owner reads these and responds. Perhaps they should stop wasting time responding to bad reviews and make the store on Queen at least 50% as good as the one...
