I would love to give this place a better rating, but I cannot do that so long as a specific employee is allowed to treat customers as horrendously as she does. I don't know her name; she is older, works most days, long straight black hair, darker skin (either black or Hispanic), with a habitually sour look on her face. Every time I come into this store while she is working, I am glared at as though she despises me when I have done nothing but try to be pleasant and respectful to this wretched woman. When I reach the register, she can't even muster a "hi" to greet the customer who essentially pays her salary by shopping there. So, while I directly benefit her life, she thinks it is appropriate to treat me like absolute garbage. It is not the customers fault that she is miserable, and we do not deserve to be treated as though we are nothing but a nuisance when we are the ones providing her with work and an income (not to mention the ability for you, the owner to stay in business). I don't know if this is personal or she treats all customers this way, and frankly it does not matter. What I know is customers do NOT deserve to be treated this way by someone we are actively supporting by shopping there and she needs to understand that it is NOT the other way around. And the fact that this has been allowed to go on for so long shows me that the owner either doesn't know and needs to pay better attention, or doesn't care, which is abysmal and just bad business. If this situation is fixed, I will gladly amend my rating, if not, I will not only leave this rating as is, but I will go out of my way to shop there as little as possible and you will be loosing a long-term customer who has been shopping there since 2009, but I absolutely refuse to continue putting up with her disgusting attitude, her hateful looks and her unprofessional behaviour. You guys might be trying to run with bare bones basics. But why? Your employees need some motivation an incentive. They should enjoy their job. Take ‘em out for dining if they meet a certain goal. Further, you gotta get some more variety, like natural peanut butter, seasonal decor, or cosmetic products. You gotta use your dumpster a little more and clean, clean, clean. As a business owner, I tell you with such a lucky location you guys could roll in a lot more dough by striving for a degree of excellence.

Read moreI’m just writing this review to complain about the new produce section which very much inhibits mobility around the front of the store. I was told the owner reads every Google review so this is for you. Why? Every day, I used to pop in, walk across the front of the store, grab an energy drink, and checkout. Now I have to walk through a maze of aisles to get to the registers. I love that there’s more produce now, but there’s no reason for the produce to block off one of the main walkways of the store. Employees speculate it could be a theft reduction measure, but told me that most of the theft is meat, and this only makes it easier to steal from the meat section I’d imagine. So again I ask, why? This layout makes no sense and is frustrating...
