I have been to Thai Spice a few times since they changed ownership in October of 2024. Overall, I enjoy the food and will continue to eat here, typically only with one other person or for takeout.

Positives: Their food is typically quite good. It has good flavor, good potion sizes, and at a reasonable price. Sometimes the spice is inconsistent (ordering mild can result in very little spice to spice that leaves your mouth burning). Their curries can be a little runny compared to other Thai restaurants, but are still good. I personally really enjoy their Pineapple Fried Rice. Orders for small parties (2-3 people) arrive in 15-20 minutes, which is around the same wait time as take out. The atmosphere nice and cozy, but can get a little loud when full.

Negatives: For parties 4+, you can expect not all the food to arrive at the same time. For every 1-2 people added to your group above 4, expect 5-10 minutes to be added for the food to arrive. EX: 8 people, you'll need to wait an additional 10-20 minutes after the first plate arrives for the last plate to be served. This is quite unprofessional of the kitchen. At the time I'm writing this, the restaurant as been open about 2 months under new management, but they've had this problem since they re-opened. Their wait staff can be quite unprofessional, which is the main reason I am writing this review. I understand with new management new staff needs to be trained, but the waitress that served my table at my last visit was obviously not trained on how to do her job. She started by saying she does not know the menu and requested that each guest point to the item on the menu they wanted. Saying "chicken pineapple fried rice" didn't work, I had to point across the table at what I wanted on the menu so the waitress could see it. Other than be unprofessional, this turned south when one member of my party received the wrong item. The other waitress came over and helped resolve the issue and said they would refund the mistake. Later, when the checks came out, our original waitress came back to the guest that got the wrong item and told the guest that she pointed to the wrong item on the menu and that it was the guest's fault for getting the wrong food. This was despite the guest stated the said they wanted a different menu item by saying it's name and pointed to the correct item on the menu. The waitress was not having it and insisted the guest was wrong. This is clearly unprofessional. The waitress then began clearing other tables, but didn't take one of our checks at our table. After a few minutes, we had to get her attention to run our other check so we could leave.

Again, this is a good Thai restaurant to go to on a date night or for take out, but I would avoid it for large groups and for potentially unprofessional wait staff. I hope the new owners can resolve these issues soon, as this would make Thai Spice a much more recommendable...

Well, delivery is very limited in Laramie, and I was tired of Jimmy Johns, so I ordered some Thai Spice today around 11:45. First thing the guy said when I told him I wanted delivery was to emphasize that the delivery could take 45-60 minutes. I think they've taken to heart some of the negative reviews on here talking about the long delivery times, so at least they were upfront with it. I ordered Potstickers and Pad Thai.

Well, the warning wasn't even necessary as not even 20 minutes later my food was here. Price came out to about $15 plus tip.

The potstickers were tasty and what I expect from potstickers. The pork pad thai, however, leaves a lot to be desired.

Unfortunately, this isn't the best Thai place in town, but it is the only Thai place that delivers... so... it is what it is.

There's something about great Thai food that gets me just excited to eat... I do not get that sense of excitement or satisfaction from this food. Just bummed out. At least the...

I haven’t left a negative review for any business ever before, but I’m going to make an exception tonight. We ordered almost $100 worth of food and told the waitress that we didn’t want the food at all spicy. When the food came, it was so spicy that none of us could eat it. We informed the waitress that it was way too spicy and she spoke to the owner. She came back and said that they wouldn’t be able to remake the food. I asked to speak to the owner and after waiting for a bit she finally came out. The waitress told the owner that we had asked for medium spicy food and the owner told me she wouldn’t remake the food. I was surprised that the waitress said that as the only thing any of us had said is that we didn’t want it at all spicy. The owner indicated that she thought I was lying to her and asked me to leave. I felt completely disrespected and feel that the situation was completely mishandled. We have eaten there many times, but will not be...

Distinct flavorful dishes. I had an appetizer of spicey ginger-garlic shrimp followed by a lunch special of green curry with squid. The lunch special also came with a cup of chicken-egg drop soup and an egg roll. I have not enjoyed lunch so much in a LONG time! Maddy, the waitress, was quite knowledgeable about Thai Spice's menu items and options. It is refreshing to have a waitron who can answer questions and make suggestions. She was quite efficient and friendly. I will DEFINITELY be back!

I ordered the beef noodle soup. It was not good. The description on the menu indicated spicy but there was nothing spicy about it. In fact it tasted very sweet. It was deconstructed with rather large pieces of onions and celery. It reminded me of leftover dishwater and tasted off as if trying to cover up something spoiled. Slim pickings in this town for real authentic asian cuisine. The window seats looking on to the street were nice.

Went here for the first time yesterday. Was very pleased with the food! Red curry was delicious and one of the better curries I’ve ever had. The beef Thai spice was also amazing and full of flavor. Not your normal sweet n sour stir fry, in a good way. The Thom ka was very good as well. A little pricy but the large portion sizes make up for it. Was a little disappointed they didn’t have khao soi but the red curry was just as yummy.
