My husband and I were in Laramie on business and decided to stop by The Great Untamed, and we are so glad we did! As someone who used to live in Arizona and loved Superstition Meadery, I've been on a long search for a place that could even come close. Honestly, I had given up hope of finding a meadery that could even come close to being on their level—until now.

The great untamed is the Third Place - a place other than home or work, to meet with friends (and make new ones) in a welcoming atmosphere. No loud music and no distracting TVs, excellent homebrewed drinks. No complicated fancy cocktails that hold up the barkeep and make you wait for 10 minutes to order a drink. Many entertainment options in boardgames, if you're into that, or just hang out and talk about politics, the news, science, or whatever. First with the proprietor, Scott is one of the most causal and charming people you'll ever meet and with a passion for a great glass of mead to boot.

What is mead? Well to be honest it doesn't matter Scott will explain it to you over a $3-$7 dollar glass of some delicious booze.
