Here's the experience I had step by step. I walk in, honestly confused since it's my first time here and my girlfriend said this was like a pizza "buffet" but it was more like a pizza version of subways. I'm greeted by a somewhat impatient employee who rushes me to decide when this is my first time looking at the whole menu. I'm asked my name for this order and just like starbucks, my name is changed to what he feels like it is. I decide to go with the build your own pizza which you can select several different styles of dough from. Well, that's if the guy serving you actually cares for what you say. Not wanting to deal with me and instead wants to sweet talk my girlfriend while taking her order, he passes my pizza down to his fellow employee, a very quiet, very depressing, and lazy individual. The 2nd employee now slowly pours the sauce, sprinkles as minimal amount of cheese as possible (which you're suppose to select but I wasn't given the option again), adds a piss poor amount of toppings no matter if i asked for a more, and then it is put into the oven. I'm served the pizza and the final result honestly doesn't look that half bad besides the fact it's lacking majority of the content suppose to be on it. The crust looks golden brown and crisp so I had some hope. I was wrong. The dough was still somehow raw, the cheese tasted very bland, and honestly if I knew I would be served this quality, I would've gone to a Little Caesars, order a $5 pizza ($5.46 with tax last time I went) which is about $3 cheaper, taste better, and is large enough to share with my girlfriend instead of these smaller portions which came to a a whopping $20 for two personal pizzas. Would I recommend this place? No. Will I ever go again? I will go one more time and see if the quality is different depending on the quality of who is working there. If not, then I will not touch this...
Read moreBlaze Pizza used to be an awesome place. But for the last couple years it seems It's going down. First off let me say that even though it wasn't busy at the time I came, they were a little slow with the service. I probably only come here once a month if that anymore. The pizza still good. And it was made well. The purpose of the bad reviews is that they seem to be cutting back on things that are actually beneficial to the customer probably to save cost or for whatever reason they felt necessary. One thing is their drink options they used to have freshly brewed iced tea for the longest time. But they do not anymore. The only drink options are the one as pictured in this review. the funniest part about this is that they used to also have Sriracha hot sauce. They only have Tabasco and not only that they have tons of it as you will see in the review of this picture. Most of those bottles are full. Now if you were the manager or the owner and you saw that would then be a red flag for you or would you just care less because Tabasco cost cheaper than most hot sauce. Are you really out for the customer? Or are you out for every penny that spent. It's okay to be on both but they used to have Sriracha for the longest time. And no one hardly likes Sriracha anymore because it's too watered down hot sauce add too much sodium. This is a no-brainer if you want people to come back for something you have to have what they like. This was a big turn off for these two items to be missing. For that reason I will not be back. It's sad because I used to enjoy coming here. Nor do I...
Read moreSo my husband and I work in the food service industry and we hate it when people are a-holes about dumb stuff. This is not about dumb stuff. We went into Blaze Pizza after hearing from a couple of friends that it is really good. We stood waiting for our order to be taken for about 3 to 5 minutes, which would have been fine if the staff would have acknowledged us in some way or if they had been busy. We were the only people in line and there were maybe 6 customers in the restaurant total. While we were waiting, one employee, who wasn't even wearing a nametag, was told by another, who was actually making a pizza, that he should take our order. He turned to her and said "I don't want to. You should." I told my husband we should leave. He said "No, we'll give them a shot." Another employee then comes to take our order. We choose the "build your own pizza" option after the employee "explains the menu." We were not asked what kind of crust we wanted, even though there are three types. Besides that, the ordering process was simple. We were rung out and took our pizzas home within about 10 to 15 minutes. But when we got home, we found that the bottoms of our pizzas were burnt. While waiting for our pizzas, the employees contunued to show a lack of motivation, leadership, and professionalism. We will not be returning. This place really needs to do some training with it's staff on...
