Really disappointed, this was our first time ever eating at Chipotle! I was the 3rd person to enter in the restaurant as I watched them unlock the doors to open.
Walked up to order, the only person with a positive attitude or even cared to be working there, greeted us with a smile. He started the three meals, then was passed along to the “sauce/topping” part of it. This young woman was beyond blah (really uninterested). She didn’t bother to let me know that putting guacamole on my burrito plate was an extra $2.65.
We shuffle over to pay and to the cashier “Sabrina” is the name on the receipt, who was dreadfully underwhelming herself. No kindness, interest, robotic, and a vibe that makes you feel unwanted around that person.
I pay $57.76 with my card, she gives me my receipt. Get the food, get our drinks also, (for morning opening, you’d think there would be Full and Fresh Teas/Aquas available, No there wasn’t, half empty, almost empty, and the one was out, okay, we get our drinks.
So we Look at where to sit, every table is dirty, crumbs on the chairs, on top of the tables, under the tables, Even floors were dirty! Kept thinking ((I could’ve sworn they just opened at 10:45?!))
We sit at the table, I clean it up. Everything is okay tasting, not bad tasting, but not Wow tasting either as all the hype claims. We then realize they didn’t get onions or cilantro on our dishes and at the front stations it wasn’t available.
So, I walk up the the cashier, she finished up with a customer, I step up and ask her if she would please get us some onion and cilantro, we did not see that as an option when we made our dishes. She looked at me as if I just asked her to go bake me a Lasagna gives a half eye roll, walks to the back, returns and her and the “blah” woman began mumbling back and fourth something then she grabbed one small plastic cup took off to the back, came back with cilantro. Grabbed another small plastic cup walked to the back, and came back with onion. It got to my hands she turned around before I finished uttered the words “Thank you” to her.
Sit down, chips are hard/stale type of texture esp For the 2 orders of Queso and Guacamole with chips paid at $8 each. We all had chicken as protein, agreed it was alright. All the ingredients were sparingly put in the dishes so there wasn’t consistent bites. Like, I was out of lettuce and salsa after a few bites. We did not finish our meals (we did finish the qeuso dip and guacamole though). It just didn’t do it for us.
I’m grateful we were fed, the Queso and guacamole on point, and the guy at first hello made me happy. Customer service matters and I didn’t feel good bringing my business there. They need a recap on proper cleaning, customer service, and be reminded of their non verbal communication...
Read moreI normally have a really good experience with chipotle. I should’ve known what direction this visit was headed in when I walked in and noticed the lobby was a DISASTER. Tables were nasty, the floor hadn’t been swept in years, it appeared. I was surprised to see a couple sitting down eating their food despite the condition of the restaurant. I got a little more annoyed when I noticed only 1 female worker was working the front line. And everyone was in the back I guess .:cooking? One lady was walking around with a clip board , I suppose taking inventory? Not sure , but the girl at the front was clearly overwhelmed as the customer in front of me had like 8 bowls she was ordering for other people who were texting her their individual orders. So the line started to grow behind me, not a single person hopped on to help her. Another front line associate appears conveniently after the lady with a million bowls leaves, I’m assuming she was on break. Then when I finally get to the register to pay for my food, the lady at the register who just came back from break said to me “Sorry I have no coins” meaning she couldn’t give me all of my change. So I was assuming she was going to short me like 6 - 7 cents , she shorted me almost a whole dollar. She shorted me like .85 cents. As a manager I understand sometimes things slip, but this was too many things. Lobby a disaster, not enough employees, employees over worked, not enough money in the register to give customers their change. Like… what’s going on here? As a customer I shouldn’t be able to feel that you’re understaffed and poorly managed. Maybe this store was just having a bad day I don’t know. To top it all off I woke up this morning feeling nauseas and I threw up, and of course after seeing the condition of this chipotle and how unsanitary the lobby was I can only assume that the back of house is just as gross which Is why I puked. Mental note not to return to...
Read moreOMG!!! where do I start!!! First the way they prepare your food is ridiculous, I had to ask for more of every topping because I was given literally a pinch of everything, I had to even ask for my side of guacamole to be more than half full, second when I got to the register I asked for chips and was told that they are out of chips, while paying I noticed that the person preparing “delivery and pick up” orders was pulling out bags of chips, I asked her if they would be making any more and she said that “chips are only available for online orders as they have a limited quantity”, I was so taken back at the fact chips exclusive for online orders due to “quantity”!!! I stood there and placed an online order for pickup just to be able to get chips which is insane!!! Third while I was waiting for my pick up order of “chips and guacamole” to be prepared, one of the workers was preparing a burrito for delivery, it was half steak and half chicken after she put the meat on the burrito another worker came up and decided that she put too much meat and proceeded to grab meat off the burrito with his hand and put it back in the container with the other meat!!!! The manger did make an effort to make sure I got my chips and guacamole that’s why I gave 2 stars for service but other than that this was thee absolute worst experience I have ever had at chipotle, the workers aren’t kind, they don’t take pride in preparing your food and they have less than desirable attitudes and habits that clearly need coaching and or training, I understand they get busy but there was NO excuse for what I experienced and witnessed, google should make it possible to give 0 stars!!! Get it together chipotle Saturday swing shift (5:30pm)...
