Del Taco — Restaurant in North Las Vegas

I honestly don’t care if my old boss sees this I worked there for almost a year, I started on grill. and about 2 maybe 3 months in I already knew how to do everything. So I decided to work on taco bar and grill I would go back and forth At times. I was basically doing everything. Most of my employees didn’t really help as much, I was constantly doing their job on top of mine. There’s some employees that actually helped, Emily, Sergio, Jenna, there’s more I just don’t know how to spell their name. Basically those people made work easier. My boss and some other employees didn’t. They made me feel annoyed. My boss literally told me that I do everything wrong, when she can’t do it herself, she made working there harder than it should be. By March I knew how to work everything I was going above beyond when it came to working. But my boss didn’t see that. I soon asked for a raise and she told me I don’t know anything. I leaned all this knowledge for nothing basically. If you ever think about working here don’t. You might think $14 is a good start but she puts you on schedule for 6-7 hours and you’re paycheck is basically the same as if you were to work at any other fast food.

For the customers this is for you, I worked here for almost a year and being on grill and toco bar has made me not like the food that is there. For example the chicken comes in blue bags, and smells disgusting. The burgers turn green or purple if you leave them on for too long. The lettuce feels like plastic, the the beef comes in a bag too. Also the food that is left over when they close they reuse it for the morning, the beans stay in the hot box till their burnt then they add water too it, there’s so much more I could say. On top of all that there’s roaches that come in the restaurant at night and stay in the back where all the food is. This place might seem all fresh but it’s not don’t even think about coming here. It’s the worst place...

I have been a tacobell addict for several years. The other day I took my family to del taco 🌮. First and foremost it is imperative to me that everyone must be made aware that the food here is exceptional! I have been selling myself so short by sticking with any other joint. Second, the prices are VERY competitive and more than fair. No other menu has been so pleasing and satisfying as the del taco. I was overwhelmed with flavor and shocked by how every bite (even days later at a different location) never fails to express it's own spectacular wonder! Absolutely astounding to me... that said... In every branch of del taco that I visited the employees were overwhelmingly professional and exacting to detail and they did their jobs amazingly well... but they never showed the least bit of enthusiasm... they were serious and dedicated but not happy or anything. I tried and tried to express my gratitude and overwhelmingly emotional pleasures to them but never did their professionalism budge an ounce. I swear these guys dont have a clue to how spectacular their own food is! Every other restaurant (even taco bell) had employees who at least expressed some responce of recognition that my prases were to be appreciated (even a simple smile 😊) but not del taco these people are cold to appreciation of any sort. I don't know what it it but I suspect their fresh cilantro is just making them stuck in a permanent state of pure unemotional...
