Tortilleria San Diego — Restaurant in Las Vegas

This review is for their tamales and champurrado. Stopped by on 10/10/21 since their reviews on google said they had the "best tamales in town" and my pregnancy cravings for tamales were all i could think about. I ordered 4 chicken tamales, 2 cheese/jalapeño and a champurrado. The cheese tamales were basically just the masa with like the tiniest amount of cheese and a slice of jalapeño. The chicken tamales were dry and needed more of the green sauce but i doubt that would have helped much since the flavor was nonexistent to begin with. They make their champurrado with water instead of milk and charge you $3. The champurrado wasn't good at all. Had to add sugar and cinnamon when i got home just so it wouldn't be a total waste. Everything ended up in the trash. So disappointed with this place. I will never...

Nestled deep in the city is this excellent spot for tamales, chicharron and all the Mexican foods your heart desires. Their birria is so delicious. They open early too which is a big plus for me since I'm an early riser. There's nothing like picking up hot food early in the morning and washing down with some atole omg. The people there are super friendly, they knew I was a first timer and they greeted me with a cup of birria and consome. Dude come on, that was so nice of them. As a vegetarian, they had plenty of tasty options on their food menu like avocados, beans, rice, quesadillas, tortillas, salsa, etc. that are to die for!
