Nando's PERi-PERi — Restaurant in Laurel

Two years ago, to this day, I went to this South African spot for the first time ever!! I went to their H street D.C. location. I posted that review, folks was like “You have to go to the one in Laurel M.D.”!! So…today I did!! . Where I am: @nandosusa . Location Reviewed: 14722 Baltimore Ave., Ste 107 Laurel M.D. . Menu Includes: Half, Quarter, Bonless, Bone In, & Chicken Skewers. Wraps, Bowls, Sandwiches, Veggie Burgers, Salads, Breads, Mac, Fries, Rice, Corn, Sweet Potatoes, Desserts, Beer, Wine, & MORE!! . Items Reviewed: Their Half Chicken Combo (white meat chicken with lemon herb, & hot Peri Peri sauce, mashed potatoes, & Brussel sprouts $17.79). STAMP the chicken!! Thoroughly cooked, my favorite sauce was the hot!!

The Mashed Potatoes…DELICIOUS! Tasty, & soft…good.

The Brussel Sprouts…LIKE THAT. A lil charred, I like my sprouts that way, & tangy!!

Their Peri Chicken Rainbow Bowl (with Avocado, tomato cucumber onion salad, pickled cauliflower, hummus, superseed crunch, and feta served over Portuguese rice and finished with a Lemon & Herb PERi-PERi drizzle $14.99).

Their Blood Orange Mango Lemonade (32oz $6.79). STAMP STAMP STAMP!! Refreshing!!

Their Honey Sweet Potatoes (Roasted with PERi-spiked honey, topped with feta and pepitas $5). DELICIOUS. A lite sweetness, with the zing of that feta…different…good.

Their Peri Mac (4-cheese mac topped with PERi breadcrumbs $5). DELICIOUS. Tasty, loose, but better than average.

Their Peri Wings (a 6 count with a sweet drizzle & Peri Ranch $8.79). STAMP!! Sweet, with a mild heat, & well cooked!!

The Naughty Nara (a Portuguese custard tart with cinnamon sugar $2.99). STAMP!! Creamy, warm, gooey…YES!! . Online Navigation: Easy . Parking: Rough on the strip, Decent in the parking lots. . I had a wonderful experience at Nando's Peri-Peri in Laurel, MD, thanks to the excellent service provided by the team. Manager Tatiana is exceptional—she is incredibly polite, hospitable, and always ensures that any issue is addressed promptly. If there's a problem, she makes it right, which speaks volumes about her commitment to customer satisfaction. Tatiana takes the time to go over the menu with guests, helping them make the best choices for their meal.

Devon, who I believe is a manager or supervisor, also deserves praise. He is great at his job, bringing a positive and welcoming energy to the restaurant. His professionalism and friendly demeanor make the dining experience even more enjoyable.

Another standout is Kevin, a young associate who impresses with his politeness, courtesy, and friendliness. Despite his age, Kevin already shows strong leadership qualities. He regularly checks in with guests to ensure they have everything they need and goes above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable and satisfied.

On a less positive note, my experience with Sean's service was disappointing. I had an issue, and unfortunately, he never got back to me or kept his word to make things right. Despite his promise to call me back, I never received any follow-up, which was quite frustrating.

Overall, Nando's Peri-Peri in Laurel has a fantastic team that excels in customer service, led by Tatiana and Devon, with rising stars like Kevin. However, there is room for improvement in communication and follow-through based on my...

Thank you to Mr. Zin Aung Area Director of Nando's and Sally the Customer Service Rep. for responding promptly to my recent experience and concern I had this past weekend @ the Laurel location. On Sunday Feb.10 th @ 6:30 pm. I went into Nando's in Laurel MD with my sisters to have dinner. The host didn't advise us that we need to place our order @ the counter before sitting in our seats. We were waiting @ our seat for over 15 min. I then realized that no one was coming over to our table to take or orders. My siblings and I went up and order our meal. After our food came, I got up to walk towards the counter to get some of the herb sauce for our chicken. Behold, I saw a cockroach on the counter running from behind the wall. One of the employee saw it, but didn't do anything about it. I walked towards the kitchen and spoke to a gentleman he said he was the Manager on duty, I told him what I had just witnessed. He attempted to wipe the cockroach into the trash. I don't think he killed it. I think there maybe additional member of that roach's family in that facility. I will not be going back to dine in or takeout @ this...
