During my visit at 11:15 AM at the Chick-fil-A in Lawrence Kansas at Iowa & 27th, I experienced NO issues.
I decided to stop and grab a Chicken Sandwich with Pepperjack Cheese and Pickles and some great ol' Chick-fil-A Nuggies.
1: First Impressions: This location did NOT disappoint! Upon arriving into the drive-thru, I was immediately greeted with a huge smile and a warm greeting welcoming me to Chick-fil-A. The ordering process was consistent and quick as always.
2: Employee Attitude: The attitudes of the employees were amazing. Every single person had a huge smile and a warm, inviting personality.
3: Employee Cleanliness: Every employee's uniform was neat, tidy and, from what I was able to see inside the window, all employees were using proper cleaning protocols. I witnessed employees changing gloves and using sanitary practices during my time at the window.
4: Food Quality: AMAZING. Everything was HOT and FRESH. I could not be more happier with the quality.
-- Chicken Sandwich ---- Chicken was fresh, hot and tender. The coolness of the pepperjack cheese and pickles made a perfect pair to the hot chicken. Loved it! -- Chicken Nuggets (8pc) ---- The nuggets were hot, fresh and amazing. And of course paired perfectly with the Chick-fil-A sauce! -- Brownie (Free as part of their rewards) ---- The brownie was soooooooooo good. Soft, chewy and amazing. Luckily I had a drink already with me that washed the brownie right down. Too bad I didn't have any vanilla ice-cream to go with it. That would have been the best thing ever.
5: Food Quantity: The Chicken Sandwich and the Nuggets were on par with what I've come to expect at Chick-fil-A. So far I'm unable to tell if the portioned size has shrank any, and I was sufficiently full after eating the Sandwich and Nuggets.
Altogether, I was in and out of the location in less than 5 minutes, I had excellent food, I had a great experience. Whenever I'm back in Lawrence KS, this is one place I will make sure to visit. I definitely recommend...
Read moreWhat has happened to the cleanliness and good customer service? We just returned home from a terrible experience and will not be returning anytime to soon. If you can't admit your mistakes and make it right, you don't deserve our business. The young man taking our order needs a lesson in listening to your customers. Twice he asked and we told him our drinks and sauce choices. His inattentiveness should have been a clue to us that our order would be wrong. When we went to find a seat, there was only one table available that wasn't dirty. After sitting and waiting 20 minutes for our food, my wife went to the counter and was told they were waiting on our soups. Then when the inattentive young man delivered our meal he told us that they actually had tried to give our meals to someone else. No apologizes just excuses. Which is it, you were waiting on our soup or you tried to give our meals to someone else. After finally getting our food, we realized they had not brought out our fries. Wife went back to the counter. She was told the soup was substituted for the fries. My wife explained that we ordered a meal and paid extra for the soup. The young woman wasn't listening to her. Second employee in one night that wasn't listening to the customer! She said the charge was an upcharge, totally missing the point that what we ordered was a meal with fries and a bowl of soup. The girl then said that if we wanted fries we had to get back in line to order them. Someone needs to explain some basics of customer service rules to these employees. 1. The customer is always right. 2. Tell the truth, 3. Never, ever give excuses and always make things right. Chicken fast food restaurants are a dime a dozen in Lawrence. We won't be back anytime to...
Read moreUnsurprising, the food is always good. What was surprising was the lack of service received! I went through the drive-thru, and no one ever came over the speaker to take my order, so I pulled around to the window to find 3 team members standing there just talking. One opened the window and asked, “What is the name on the order?” I explained I wanted to order, but no one ever responded to the drive-thru. There was zero concern from the young lady that my order was never taken, and she acted put off that I was disturbing them. Never asked for my card just stuck her hand out, expected it, swiped it, and handed it back. “Here’s your drink.” i said thank you. No response. “Here’s your food. I once again said thank you and as her back was being turned to me i received a very flat “have a good night” Chick-Fil-A’s reputation is built on their stellar customer service which goes above and beyond politeness. I can say I received zero customer service tonight. Greatly disappointed and Not a great impression left for...
