Espurresso Cat Cafe — Restaurant in Lawrence

I've been to Espurresso Cat Cafe several times and adore them! Their drinks are wonderful, and there are lots of different drink options for coffee drinkers and non-coffee drinkers. And of course their cat area is so fun! They always have very detailed descriptions about the cats' personalities and their fun names, and fill their area with lots of cat toys and activities! As a busy college student, it's a great way to relax and get some pet therapy! :)The space is also so bright and joyful with its decor. What shines above all else is the staff's kindness and generosity, as well as their passion for helping out animals in need. I've been meaning to go back before winter break! Such a cute little spot to chat with friends, get a serotonin boost, and a pick-me up coffee! Clean space and well decorated. All of the staff was WONDERFUL and super kind. Love that they're partnered with the Lawrence Humane Society. 10/10 and will definitely visit again.

Another thing to add is that there are a few things that separates this cat cafe from others. You can visit and not feel pressured to have to interact with the cats. If you're looking to grab some coffee and catch up with a friend, you can observe the cats through the window. Additionally, most cat cafes do not emphasize the "cafe" aspect of the cat cafe and do not provide actual drinks that you'd be able to get from a typical cafe. This is one of my favorite places here in Lawrence. As someone who has always loved cats, having a little cafe on Mass street dedicated to delicious treats and adorable adoptable kitties is like a dream come true. I know several people who have adopted their kitties through the cafe and have had an amazing experience. These kitties get shown in a new light when they aren’t in a cage at a shelter. Their personality really shines through!

The cats and the treats aren’t the only good thing. I’ve had great encounters with both owners who are just amazing! Brittanie, one of the owners, knows myself and the little boy I nanny by name and is just so personable. They’ll always make you feel right at home!
