DO NOT COME HERE! 5/16/2025 I used to really enjoy this place. There are some great bartenders and a solid crowd of regulars that make it a fun and welcoming spot. Unfortunately, one visit changed everything. A very large inebriated man accused me of touching his friend's girlfriend, an incident that never happened. Despite this, I calmly apologized to avoid escalating the situation.

However, the man then told his friend, a very thin man with glasses who works as a bouncer, that I had touched her. Without any attempt to hear my side or verify the story, the bouncer took the accusation as fact and told me I was no longer welcome at the bar. I remained respectful throughout, even as I was unfairly accused and treated with clear bias.

It was an awful and disrespectful experience, and although I like most of the bartenders and patrons, I won't be returning. One aggressive customer and one unprofessional bouncer completely ruined a place I once loved. Being falsely accused in front of others like that was not only humiliating, it was defamation.

I don’t take leaving a one-star review lightly, but I honestly don’t know what else to do. If there’s any doubt about what happened, I urge you to check the security cameras, this defamation and open disrespect, with no clear reason. It's especially disappointing considering I’ve always treated staff and fellow patrons with kindness and respect, and consistently tipped well.

I will no longer be bringing my business, or that of my friends, to this establishment. I hope the ownership seriously addresses this kind of behavior before it drives away more...

We were treated so disrespectfully by the door guy and bartender when trying to attend a friends birthday party there. There are so many better choices to enjoy all that downtown Lawrence has to offer. Just keep walking right past this bar. And look elsewhere to spend your hard earned money. I will never step foot in this place again and nor will the people I was with. What could have been a calm respectful discussion turned out to be escalated from 0 to 10 by their door guy. I have lived in Lawrence for 30 years and have visited just about every bar downtown. I have never encountered a place so...

The back patio here is under rated and under used. Heads up, the bar is cash only. The service is good and there will be one or two specials. The selection is big but just big enough when you include the bottle options. A couple of pool tables, dart boards, and plenty of group style seating make for a space that isnt too loud to visit and hang out with friends. Fun bar feels safe while divesk at...
