Louise's Downtown — Restaurant in Lawrence

This is one of my go to spots but came on st pattys day and alex in the downstairs area engaged me with ill be right with you 15 min later still no drinks and its dead downstairs maybe half a dozen people half with drinks already. We decide to go upstairs because again normally louises is the spot to be at..and sure enough the upstairs bartender even tho he was engaged with 2 young ladys saw me as a paying customer and within 2 min had my drinks and was amazing. I just turned 21 and still have my vertical ID as I am not from Lawrence and have not been able to get my horizontal ID yet. The bouncer gave my friends and I (who are all 21) such a hard time, told us we were a pain in his ass, and that he “hates 2000 babies”. It's a bar, there isn't much that stands out but it's also not a bad place. I don't do bars almost ever but it was nice enough. They don't check vaccine cards, which made me nervous but it wasn't too crowded so I stayed. It's primarily college kids and middle aged/older guys.
