Let's start here! When the manager's don't care then why should I? I went to this location on the 21st of September to grab dinner for my family. I reach home and started distributing food to the kids...all wrong! I had gotten someone else's order and attempted to eat some of it, however it seemed as though the burgers was prepped earlier that day because the buns was so hard around the edges and mayo was a disgusting tingy yellow. The fries was super limber with oil and not cooked thoroughly. I immediately called and spoke to mgnt (DD) who was pleasant and asked that I return tomorrow for full replacement along with receipt (in which you gotta ask for). I got there the next day relatively early because I said this could be our early lunch since we didn't have dinner that night, I got there a little after 11am the lobby door was closed however somebody kids was running around like in a daycare in the dining hall. I confirmed with the times on the door and surely it should of been open, so I called and was told that they couldn't find the key to unlock the door, so the manager who's name starts with a D asked me to come thru the drive thru..so I did. I get to the window with food and receipt explaining my story once again, and at this point with the lobby being closed and workers already looking crazy (like I did something wrong by returning my food) I just asked for my money back. Everyone in there had RED HAIR) The manager refunded me with no problem. It went down hill from there when I asked for a regional or district mgnt phone number. She gave me a website and gave me a foreign name in which I didn't see on the website. I called back later that day around 4:30 spoke again with a manager (didn't get name) who stated that they couldn't give out that information and I could tell as she spoke to me she was making burgers, talking to her cooks, filling drinks for drive thru and ringing up customers, so at that point I expressed to her that I needed to have a district mgnt call me because clearly I caught her at a bad time. After saying that she gave me 2 minutes of her attention and she started explaining to me that they have been short of workers and that they were doing the best they could with what they had. She also gave me a different excuse with the lobby door not opening at 11am (1st mgnt told me lost key - 2nd mgnt told me a shortage of workers). I found myself spending too much time on this call so I offered my phone number and asked her to have Regional or District mgnt to call me, she then said that they (DM & RM) didn't like for them to call...I mean excuses after the next. I left my number and thought about it a few days later that no one have called me back. I call again last night around 5:45 spoke to a mgnt in which she heard all my frustration at this point, she stated that Sat the mgnt I spoke to (Gabby) was a district mgnt and she would be in this morning and she will leave a note for her to call me. OK! STOP!!! Gabby is a district mgnt ..the one that was multitasking...This was such disappointing news. Well after I got to work and told a co-worker she thought, hmmm that doesn't sound right..go onto google and look for corp #. I did and found out that the info that was given to me about Gabby was not true! So at this point good luck with speaking to a DM or RM and be aware of who you voicing your complaint to and check your bag before you leave the drive thru. They have lost my business, The QT next door have better service and fresher foods and that is very bad to let a QT out do you on FRESH FOOD and EXCELLENT...
Read moreYesterday I pulled up to the drive through in the rain so not knowing the quality of their headsets and volume i spoke loudly because it was raining heavily but I was not YELLING. I asked for a 4 for 4 but the guy on the speaker did not even acknowledge my order or ask me which sandwich. At first I did not hear what he said i though he might have asked me to either please repeat that or please pull to the window.. apparently he asked me to please not yell but i didn't hear over the rain. I repeated my request for a 4 for 4 a little louder thinking maybe the speaker was picking up the background noise and he didn't hear me. There was no response. I waited to see if he would respond and ask me the standard questions like what sandwich, drink, and any sauce for the nuggets.. Nope. Nothing. Just silence. I say "hello?" And finally i hear a response.. "I can hear you" i thought obviously not if he didn't respond.so i sai i had been asking for a 4 for 4.. And again instead of asking me about what i want for that meal he yells back at me "and I said please stop yelling. You dont have to yell!" I was flabbergasted. I said forget it. As drive past the pass through window i can see him watching as I drive by shaking his head so i decide im going to go inside and speak to a manager. Lo and behold the manager was none other that the rude guy from the drive through. I tell him he was very rude to me and he accused ME of being rude for yelling. He made no attempt to diffuse the situation. He made it clear that I was not welcome there so I walked out without ordering anything. As I get in my car and drive off he was standing at the window by the door watching me drive away. I knew it wa me he waz watching because there was nothing else there and i could see his head turning to follow me until turned the corner out of view.
Today I did get a call from the GM apologizing profusely about the experience and has offered me a free meal. So he would get 5 stars but the experience yesterday was worth minus 3 stars so i give a net...
Read moreOn Saturday, December 10th at 6:25 pm at the Wendyâs 165 Scenic Hwy in Lawrenceville, GA I stopped by the drive-thru to get my 6-year old a kids meal, a cookie, and a frosty. After a few minutes with no greeting or response I said hello. The young lady on the other end responded in a condescending tone that she would be with me shortly. Upon taking my order she mentioned that she couldnât hear me. When I spoke up loud enough for her to hear me to told me to calm down. Confused I turned to the passenger and asked them: did she just tell me to calm down? She heard me and respondedâŚâand I did!â I responded: âI am just trying to place my order and your comments are persnickety and gratuitous, to which she replied, âthose arenât even real words!â As I drove off, she screamed out the drive-thru window, taunting and saying ha youâre mad! At that point, I parked and went in to speak to a manager. While I was there another customer came in asking if the drive thru was closed because they were unresponsive. He was ignored as well and left without service and food. The manager rolled her eyes and ignored my complaint never making complete eye contact with me. She was extremely rude as were the drive thru staff. I asked for her name and the store number. She told me I can just call and that I didnât need the store number. I couldnât believe Iâd been treated so rudely and for no reason at all. They worst part of all is that my daughter was present for this behavior. Iâm sad that she had to witness this. This was the most horrendous experience I have ever had at any Wendyâs and it definitely made me never want to patronize any Wendyâs ever again! I would give zero stars if it were possible. They need new staff and a new manager, either that or some extensive training in professionalism and customer service. There was no apology or resolve for the lack of professionalism...
