My wife and I love Dutch Bros, but the problem is that we have this stand in Layton 4 minutes from our house. Every time we go to this stand they seem to mess up our order. They either forget our extra shots or soft top. If it’s something I am paying extra for, it better not be forgotten. So rather go here we go to Farmington, 15 minutes away, because they have never messed up our order. Also this stand is extremely inconsistent. Whether it’s with our drinks, which we usually get the same drink every week or it’s extremely slow because it always seems like there is a group of new people that are just learning how this thing works. So it never seems to be the same. This is something that constantly happens so we figure its worth the extra 30 minutes out of our day to drive to Farmington to get our drinks. Also I would suggest that if you are going to raise the drinks prices then stop asking for tips. You have busy stands and probably can afford to pay your employees more. Stop raising the prices and stop passing it on to your loyal customers to pay your employees by asking for tips. If you are willing to throw away a shot because somebody only wants one shot than you can afford to pay your people and stop asking for us to give a tip. It’s awkward. Times are tough. We were every other day purchases. Now it’s once a week. Because you raised prices and asked for tips. Now we make our own cold brew for the week. Our 1 drink a week is a treat to ourselves for making it through another week. So please dont ruin...
Read moreThis location used to be my absolute favorite but I have had some issues the last three or so times that I have been there. So background, two years ago, I ordered an iced cookie dough mocha all the time, it was so easy to order - literally just a mocha and add the cookie dough flavoring. I thought it would be just as simple this time around. So the last couple of times, I have said I want an iced cookie dough mocha with no toppings (no cookie dough pieces, no chocolate drizzle, not soft top. I have specified literally just the cookie dough flavoring). Why did they make me a cold brew and tell me they didn’t understand my order? So I figured maybe I’m the problem and I should order it differently, especially because it seemed sus that I was getting charged as if I was ordering the drink with all of those things. So I go back and order it as such “Can I please get a medium iced mocha, and add cookie dough flavoring?” I thought it would be so simple!! Then she asks about the toppings and I was internally lowering my head in disappointment. So I told her no to everything, I get to the window and they hand me a drink that does in fact have everything on it. I just really do not like the additional stuff that goes on it, but I like the cookie dough flavoring in the mocha. It’s been my favorite for forever. I’m just really disappointed lately since this is the location closest to my house but I may have to just go back to the Farmington location since they don’t seem to struggle with my order or...
Read moreNotmally I prefer Dutch Brothers over Starbucks because I love their coffee and exceptional customer service. Not today. This location had one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. The line was incredibly long, which is fine, and we thought maybe they were short-staffed. We sat in line for half an hour. The first issue was that I had done a mobile order, but the workers who were outside taking orders did not bring it to me like they usually do, even though, given the time that had lapsed, it was clearly ready. Then, the manager who had come out to give treats to a dog proceeded to stand there talking to the owner several minutes after the driver received his order, even though she could see the line had about 20 cars.. When we finallly get up to the window, we sat there for 5 minutes without being acknowledged, even though there were probably 5 or six workers in the building, so clearly not short-staffed. The manager and one of her employees were right by the window, and never turned to talk to us. After 5 minutes I finally yelled "hello" to be heard above the music, and the worker turned around, and the manager looked over but then turned away. No apology, no "how can I help you". I told him how long we'd been at the window without being acknowleged. Sure enough, my order had been sitting by the window for quite some time. The food items were both cold, and my coffee, which I ordered extra hot, was lukewarm. Yes we will not be returning to...
