I tried this place 5 years ago when I moved into town. I always get curry at Thai restaurants but the curry is sweet. If you go for curry get mango or pineapple that are supposed to be sweet. The rest of the the items are really good conditionally. This restaurant is 10/10 or 4/10 depending on the cook. I tried it a few days during the week after having a great experience then I was really disappointed. The recipes are great I think, it's just who is cooking the food. Update: after the response from the company, the recipes are great, it's just who is cooking the food. One day great meat in your food, next day meat that is so overcooked that you can't even eat more than a few bites. Honestly after my really good experience I wanted to go back and try each item because they look amazing and if cooked right I'm sure they would all be awesome. Update 7/10/2023, the price of food has changed, 18 dollars for rice and curry for one person is ridiculous (pre tip). I like to support family run businesses but I'm not rich enough to eat here anymore besides the lunch special which is still pretty expensive and less than half the regular amount so you'll still be hungry. I'll be making my own curry for my family of 5 for less than the one order from now on. Full lunch special is in the picture and not even a full bowl of food

My wife and I went on a Friday night. It was not overly crowded and they got us seated immediately. Then, the wait began. It took several minutes before someone brought us water, and several more before they took our order. We ordered Spring Rolls as an appetizer, which were loaded with Cilantro that overwhelmed the taste of everything else. Then the real wait began. We had been at the restaurant 45 min waiting for our Pineapple Curry and Pad Thai when they brought us out some pirouettes. Then we waited another 15 min for water refills. Eventually the food came out. The Pineapple Curry was delicious. Make sure to tell them if you want it mild. We got medium and it had a little delightful kick. The Pad Thai was average, certainly nothing to write home about. It took a total of 90 min from entry to departure, largely because the service was slow. Price was very fair, and ran a bit cheaper than most other Thai restaurants. Also, most of their dishes do not have an option to add shrimp, so if that's something you seek, go somewhere that has it. Overall, i felt like the service put a damper on what was a good meal, but certainly not a great meal.

I do not see why this place thinks this takeout meal should cost over $70... they charge more per dish than Sawadee, a nice atmosphere on prime real estate, downtown (south temple) with far better flavors. Fusion 99 in Layton with similar yummy flavors and atmosphere also charges less for much better food and experience. This restaurant is dirty and looks like it is falling apart with subpar flavors. The fresh spring rolls cost nearly $6 a piece and are all veggie and filled with rice noodles. Other restaurants charge less and at least have shrimp in the filling... Our upcharge for beef literally shouldn't be 1$ per slice of meat... no noodle dish containing maybe 5 pieces of meat should cost over $20...do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. This place is a joke! I am 100% fine paying higher prices for a nicer restaurant, this is absolutely not that! You can buy seasoning pastes and sauces for a few bucks, this is what it tasted like. Oh, and if all that isn't enough, don't plan to pay with a credit card unless you want to pay ADDITIONAL FEES for doing so. Yes, that's correct, they pass the credit card fees onto the customer to pay. 🙄

The food was AMAAAAZZZING!! I went here specifically for Pho but then saw they had a Pumpkin Curry, so ended up getting so much more food. Everything was delicious!

Pumpkin curry had chunks of pumpkin in it, which I was not expecting, and a little hesitant to try but it was the best curry I’ve ever tried.

Pineapple curry was amazing. The twist of spice and sweet go together so well. All the veggies inside were soft and chewable but not mushy.

Chicken fried rice was GIGANTIC. Portioned enough for 2 people.

Egg rolls tasted super fresh, I do wish the sauce was a bit thicker.

Beef Pho had pieces of broccoli and carrots inside, which I haven’t had before in a Pho but they were the perfect texture and so good when absorbing the broth.

Inside honestly felt a bit dirty and unkept. Not unclean, just older and dark interior. The ambiance isn’t great. There wasn’t any music playing so other conversations could be heard. The bathroom was clean. It would take a lot of money to fix up, so I can understand why it looks this way. Maybe a little paint and different lighting to brighten it up a bit.

I’m assuming the owner, took my order but her cook wasn’t there yet, so she had to cook our meals. I mean I’m glad she did because the food was delicious! I HIGHLY recommend this place!!! I would totally have a party here if they had...

This was the type of hole in the wall place that I love with tipping tables on an uneven floor. First the service was excellent. Very nice, informative server. The food was only okay. To start we had spring rolls for an appetizer and they were totally bland and bordering on not good. The sauce for them was gritty and....just bad. For our meals we had a red curry rice dish ordered hot and "Drunken Noodles" ordered medium hot. (We both live for spicy hot foods!) The curry had way too much coconut milk, was also bland, and was only mildly spicy. Not a bad dish but lacking flavor and very disappointing. The drunken noodles had a mostly good flavor but waa oily and so spicy that my nose ran the entire time. It wasn't that exciting spicy flavor I crave but the type of hot that literally sears your throat as it goes down. Each bite was a fire ball landing in my stomach & left me hungry but unable to continue. And the final thing that made the experience a let down, with eyes & nose running profusely, they only had the square home style napkins and i kept having to ask for more to mop up my face. Not a good date-look! I was excited to go because of good reviews but it just didn't do it for us and I don't think we'll even give it a...
