Online and on their app they advertise a free burrito for your birthday… well when I showed up I stood there for at least 5 minutes before anyone came to help from the back while a few of the other employees sat and ate in the dining area, when someone finally did come from the back and ask if I needed help and I had asked about the burrito I now had 2 workers in front of me basically arguing about the reason they were going to find to not give me the burrito and one saying to the other we need to make sure he hasn’t already got one today-it was 1:30 in the afternoon, they had only been open for a couple hours at that point… but apparently because they don’t want to give out free burritos, they don’t let you download the app the day of your birthday amd offer the option… so they said the would give me a free chips and queso which was the offer for downloading the app, when I got to the register to pay for my meal they took my number to redeem the offer from the app for the free queso, it was almost. 17 dollars for a drink and burrito!!!!!! The funny thing was when they pressed the button to finalize the sale the change back on the teal was the same as the money owed… and she hurrry and exited out and needed to get out a calculator to figure out the difference between the 16 dollars and something cents and the $20 I used to pay with…. What a joke. Lying to their customers so they don’t have to pay for their free meals… disappointed. Cafe Rio has my heart forever… Moe’s sucks fat toes. Plus they need to clean up their grass instead of stuffing it on the other side of the building next to the...
Read moreI’m from the south, where Moe’s originated. So needless to say, my standards for them are very high. When I found out that there was only one Moe’s in all of Utah, I obviously had to go see for myself.
Well, let me tell you something. This is the best Moe’s in Utah by default, yes, but this honestly could be the best Moe’s in the COUNTRY. It’s that good. I’ve already been back close to 10 times.
The franchise owner and his family make up most of the staff, and they are absolutely some of the most kind and courteous restaurateurs I’ve ever met. I’m always greeted with a smile and treated with such grace.
The ingredients always taste fresh, the portions are always generous, and the salsa bar is always fully loaded. It’s perfect.
The restaurant itself is always very clean, it’s never too warm or cool inside, never too busy, and the real cherry on top is that the interior hasn’t been overhauled (yet, at least) to match the modern look that Moe’s is renovating most of its restaurants with. The Moe’s in my hometown has been renovated already, but stepping into this one always gives me a sense of nostalgia, reminding of me of the many memories I have in my home Moe’s.
Even if there were anything to nitpick about this place, I wouldn’t even bother mentioning it, because this Moe’s is wonderful and it’s deserves all the business in the world. Thank you to the owners for making it and keeping...
Read moreWas a Birmingham, Alabama resident for 46 years. Relocated to Idaho. My 15 year old daughter was very bummed that their was no Moe's in Idaho Falls, Idaho. VERY BUMMED. (That is for you corporate-Idaho Falls is booming and needs a Moe's badly). I work for a telecom, and was sent to work in Ogden/Layton for a month. And their is an amazing Moe' s here. As I was leaving Layton to head back to Idaho, I popped back in this place and loaded up on cheese dip and 2 huge chicken burritos for my 15 year old. I cannot tell you how excited she is going to be when she opens the refrigerator when her and my wife get back from camping tomorrow. I cannot iterate enough how badly it bothers her that she can't get a chicken burrito and cheese dip at least once a week. I think she thinks she will never taste Moe's again. Claudia, my server was awesome. Loaded me up and rolled my burritos in double aluminum foil for the 3 hour ride back. She was super friendly. As was everyone. A gem. The place is exceptionally clean. And organized. As Moes's always are. In a part of the world where Hispanic food is everywhere, I still would choose Moe's over any of it. They have the greatest Queso Blanco on the planet. If you've never tried Moe's , you're missing out. Thanks Claudia. Thanks Moe's. You're gonna make my 15 year old very very happy. Which...
