Raising Cane’s is often highly praised for its focus on quality, simplicity, and consistency. Here’s what people generally love about it: 1. Chicken Quality: Customers rave about the juicy, tender chicken fingers. Raising Cane’s focuses on fresh, never-frozen chicken, which is hand-breaded and fried to a crispy, golden-brown perfection. The taste and quality of the chicken tend to stand out compared to other fast-food chicken options. 2. Cane’s Sauce: The Cane’s Sauce is a fan favorite and a signature part of the meal. Many customers describe it as the perfect blend of tangy and creamy, making it a great dip for both the chicken fingers and fries. 3. Simple Menu: With a menu centered around chicken fingers, Raising Cane’s keeps it simple. This allows them to focus on what they do best without a lot of added items. This simplicity resonates with people who appreciate a straightforward, no-fuss meal. 4. Fresh Sides: The sides, including crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast, and coleslaw, are also well-liked. The Texas toast, in particular, is usually soft on the inside and crisp on the outside, making it another highlight of the meal. 5. Fast and Friendly Service: The staff at Raising Cane’s are often noted for being friendly and efficient. Many locations are known for their upbeat, fun atmosphere that feels welcoming and vibrant. 6. Clean and Inviting Ambiance: Customers also mention that Raising Cane’s locations tend to be clean and inviting, adding to the overall dining experience. 7. Consistency: Whether you visit one location or another, Raising Cane’s has built a reputation for delivering a consistent experience, which is why many people return. Some downsides mentioned in reviews are that the menu is limited, and there’s not much variety if someone isn’t in the mood for chicken fingers. Overall, if you’re craving quality chicken with standout dipping sauce, Raising Cane’s often gets high marks as a go-to.

I would NOT recommend this place at all. How can you say you are Texan food? It must be in the bland side of Texas. No spice or flavor to the Chicken. It’s sooooo bland. Should have just went to a local store and bought Tyson chicken strips and fried them. The oil tasted old. The fries were inconsistent. Some cold, some crispy, and some soggy. The special sauce just tastes like mayo, pickle juice, ketchup and pepper. The toast if you can call it that was soggy. Coleslaw was nothing special. It’s definitely not southern. It tasted like they took Kraft coleslaw dressing and dumped it on cabbage and carrots. Definitely not tasty at all. The only plus side is the fresh lemonade had pebble ice.

Raising Cane’s never disappoints! My wife and I enjoyed our usual chicken tenders, always hot, crispy, and delicious. The staff was friendly and courteous, and our food came out in good time. This location has a large drive-thru, which makes walking in a bit awkward, but once inside it’s welcoming. Prices feel a little steep, but that’s true everywhere these days. Still, the quality keeps us coming back. Fun fact, if you didn't already know, the restaurant is named after the founder’s dog, Cane, which adds a nice bit of charm to the brand.

When "policy" seems to be more important than the customer.

Today was a pretty sad visit. I ordered my usual 3 3-finger combo and a Coke with no ice. I pull up, am told the price, hand over my card, and then after my food is handed off to me and my card I realize that I've been charged incorrectly. I kindly ask why the price was different. She says you ordered a Box Combo. I say "No I wanted the 3 Finger. She looks at me and says "Oh, sorry....." I'm now waiting for her to make it right. I then realize she has no intentions of fixing anything so I say reluctantly "Um, OK I guess I can just eat the meal...I guess" She then gives me a coke with ice. I now realize my order was completely wrong. I ask for her to switch it out please as ice hurts my teeth. She tells me she can't take it back and I have to keep it and she will make me another. I tell her I don't have room for the extra drink and I don't want it. She again tells me she's not taking it and it's "Policy"

Well, now I'm getting frustrated. I say "Why don't we do a refund since this whole thing is wrong a getting weird." She immediately hands everything off to the manager. I now hear the employee in the back explaining to the manager that she KNOWS I ordered the box meal. She also explained that I wanted a Coke with no ice as opposed to what she gave me. The manager politely says "I'm happy to give you the coke with no ice" I say, "Great, but that's not the issue. I don't have room for this other drink. Can you please take it back?" The manager says "Yeah, no problem." The employee in the back pipes up with "I thought you said you want a refund!" I say " I did while you kept things weird instead of helping" I also say to the manager who is now completely disengaged in the issue " I guess I'll just keep the combo that was wrong then?" She doesn't even reply to me. I just shook my head and said "Well, have a nice day then."

So, my takeaway is of course first, if you're going to say something that contradicts the guest, make sure they can't hear you. Secondly, making things right with the guest is probably more important than policy. Lastly, make sure you have resolved your guest's issues before you tune them out and move on.

Oh well, I might be back. Who knows.

PS I would have taken this inside to a manager instead of coming here, but your manager already made it clear they didn't have...

Food is good, service was terrible. Is it just a bunch of teenagers running this place and nobody in charge? Scenario – went to the drive-through ordered two box combos and a kids meal. One sweet tea and two sprites. Get my food. Everything is good. Everybody’s happy in the car. Get 2 miles down the road. We discovered that the sprites taste like toilet water. I turn around I go back because, obviously the Sprite syrup is empty and needs to be changed. I get back in line. There is 10 cars in front of us, I get to the speaker and the girl doesn’t understand what I’m saying. I end up driving to the first window, nobody working the window, I drive to the second window , and they have no idea why I’m there. I politely tell the young lady that my sprites are not any good. And that can we please just get cokes instead. Because I also could see that there was just teenagers there and the chances of them hooking up a fresh box of sprite syrup, and testing It were probably going to be zero. So we decided on Coke instead. I then try to hand the lady the two toilet waters that she just served me five minutes prior, and was told I had to pull over to the dumpster and put them in the dumpster. I got the death stare from her, and she acted like I was trying to give her garbage out of my car. It was literally the two drinks that were gross that she just served me. Needless to say I’m driving a vehicle and I cannot physically hold onto 4 drinks without a drink carrier. Let me fix the scenario for you – customer comes back to the store with two drinks that are not satisfactory. How about? We’re really sorry here’s two cokes. Have a nice night. There you go I fixed it for you. It’s that simple. I’m literally shocked I was at a canes chicken. I have never seen the lack of customer service at a canes chicken like I did this one. Every other canes chicken has been excellent 10 stars. What that says to me as a customer is that there is nobody there in charge. And that whoever is there is lacking...
