Subway — Restaurant in Lead

I moved to Lead in November of 2015. I've eaten at this Subway since day one, and am impressed by the selection, and small town charm of this particular store.

Living alone, I eat out a lot, and I eat at this Subway more often than not. Subway is my favorite 'better food fast' chains, with subs being my favorite food for eating-out-on-the-go.

It has huge windows that let in a ton of light, and is located across from Lead's signature land feature, 'The Open Cut,' part of the original Homestake Gold Mine.

The view is scenic, and the small homes and businesses that make up the area, as well as Manuel Brothers Park across the street, and to the right of the Homestake Visitor's Center, make this Subway's location nicer than most.

Come up to Lead for some Northern Black Hills Hospitality, and, while you're here, stop into the Lead Subway for a Grinder to enjoy while visiting the area...

It's august 11th I arrived at subway at 7:15 am and the doors were locked and the open sign was unlit when they were supposed to be open at 7am on a Friday. So I came back with the girlfriend at 8:30 am to my surprise they were now open and I figured I wouldnt say anything about the very late opening of the store. The one worker named "Phil " seemed to be the only person there. The girlfriend ordered a pizza sub but Phil said sorry I haven't gotten around to getting the marinara sauce ready for the day. Looked like the bread selection wasn't ready for the day either. We walked out very disappointed all due to...

Was staying in the area during the Sturgis rally and stopped here to get a quick meal. I was surprised of how much product that you did not have. Everything I was asking for initially — was said that you were out. I asked for the honey oat bread, and there was none and then I asked about the meatball sub and you were out of the meatballs. The condiments and toppings on the one side looked very old and the tomatoes looked like it sat for a long time in the refrigerator. I do not like leaving negative reviews, but I feel this establishment could do better and provide better service with quality food in stock...
