Great service from the girl working the register and the young man named Grant. Great food, too! The only negative was the demanding lady giving the food to Grant, to take out to the customers. She continued to "bark" orders at the young man, saying "Grant come here now!" and "Grant, get over here". Almost like she was on some sort of a power trip, which is strange working in the position she SERVES? I could see if you are in a role (like CEO, President, or Owner) to think you have some sort of power, but even those people in those roles (the truly successful one's) dont speak to anyone like that. To be passing food to a young man (who is doing his best and is beyond polite to everyone who comes through the door), barking orders at him, just didn't go over too well with me. So what did I do? I gave the young man a $20 tip and told him to keep on shining. People like the lady barking at him constantly, try to put out THE LIGHT of those who shine around them. Young men like Grant make the world a better place. And people like her lose customers. Hopefully my tip to him encouraged him to keep on shining, and will help distinguish her darkness :-). I thought about tipping Grant in front of her, but she probably would have felt entitled to some of the tip (which she didn't deserve even a penny of). Keep on shining, Grant. It makes the world a better place, and it irritates the dark ones...
Read moreI ordered the smoked turkey with provolone cheese. I have to say I don't think I've ever had a sandwich from Schlotzsky's that has been so disappointing. The bread was not toasted and there was so little meat on there that I tasted nothing but the bread. There was very little lettuce also. I forgot to order my cookie at the speaker, so when I got to the window, I asked to have a chocolate chip cookie added. When I go in the store, they usually have a large chocolate chip cookie in a package. I was extremely disappointed when I got to work to realize that I had this small cookie in my bag. Had I known it was going to be so small I would have ordered an extra one. Was it punishment because I didn't order it at the speaker? I don't know, but it'll probably be awhile before I go back. Very disappointing, Schlotzsky's, very...
Read moreI ordered Grubhub the last few times at this location and I have not received what I asked for. I ordered the cheese original with tomato basil…. Sandwich : no olives, added condiments, paid for the extra cheese and I was sent a sandwich with how it comes originally. I also just ordered tonight, this time the sandwich was not cut in half but the smallest portion they could cut l, but sent me 2 bread sticks with it. The extra cheese I paid for didn’t add, the way it was made was disappointing just threw lettuce and a half of a tomato on it. I’ve ordered from the other location once and they made it perfect. The tomatoe basil is always great. I don’t like bad reviews but times are hard and having the luxury to eat out you want what...
