Never want to hurt someoneās business, but have to leave honest review.
Iād heard so much positively about this place that I had to try it out.
Ordering was quick and staff were nice. Thatās about where the positive experience ended.
The young lady taking the orders indicated it would take 35 min for the order. I laughed as I thought she was joking⦠she was not. Strongly considered walking out right then and there but wanted to give it a shot. Cost was $43 for two biscuits and two coffees that I thought was a little high, but again trying it out.
45 min later finally got our food. Myself and about everyone on the patio were considering just leaving as everyone was starving, hot, and kind of annoyed it was taking so long. The biscuits were⦠eh. Honestly I expect more moisture like Chick-fil-A but instead they just fell apart when you tried to hold the sandwich so switched to the utensil. Endless coffee was good for about half a cup before it ran out and was not refilled before I ended up leaving. Creamer as well.
In the end I was disappointed and felt a little robbed. Maybe due to the high expectations Iād set for it on the reviews/price. Staff indicates itās because theyāre āso busy.ā Eh, Iād chalk it up to extremely poor logistic. No way it should take 45 min to put a piece of check in between two biscuits. If Chick-fil-A can deliver a hot/fresh chicken biscuit in under 120 seconds⦠45 mins seems excessive.
Sadly I wonāt be returning until some vast improvements in logistics. A 20% price decrease may also serve well to a broader market. At their current price point there are so many other āsit downā breakfast choices in downtown and they may even deliver the food...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe Nashville Hot chicken biscuit is nothing short of amazing. From the moment I took my first bite, I was blown away by the flavors and textures of this delicious sandwich.
The biscuit itself was perfectly flaky and buttery, and the Nashville Hot chicken was spicy and full of flavor. The combination of the two was absolute heaven - each bite was a perfect balance of savory and spicy, and the overall flavor was truly irresistible.
But what really sets Buford's Biscuits apart is the quality of the ingredients. The chicken was juicy and perfectly cooked, and the biscuit was made with only the freshest, highest quality ingredients. It was clear that a lot of care and attention went into crafting each and every biscuit.
In addition to the Nashville Hot chicken biscuit, I also tried a few other menu items and was equally impressed with the quality and flavor of each one. The fried green tomato biscuit was crispy and tangy, and the fried chicken and gravy biscuit was rich and satisfying.
But the standout for me was the fried chicken and honey biscuit. The fried chicken was crispy and perfectly cooked, and the honey added just the right amount of sweetness to balance out the savory flavors of the sandwich.
Overall, I highly recommend giving Buford's Biscuits a try, especially if you're a fan of Nashville Hot chicken. The quality and flavor of the food is truly outstanding, and the friendly and attentive service only adds to the overall dining experience. If you're in the area, be sure to stop by and try one of their delicious biscuits - along with that signature hometown feel that you canāt get...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGreat food, but waaaaayyyyyy too long of a wait for carryout. The woman on the phone told me 25-30 minutes for my order to be ready. When I arrived, the bartender asks me if I preordered by phone and I told him yes. He then tells me it'll be an hour until it's done. I told him I would have to leave if that was going to be the case. He then tells me he would go check on my order. When he comes back, he says it would be around 10 mins. I tell him ok, since you're telling me just 10 more minutes. Well folks, I ended up sitting in there for another half hour. While I'm waiting, people were coming in asking how long the wait was to be seated and the guy in the front was telling them two hours. I must have seen about four groups turn right back around and head out the door. The place was extremely busy and packed. The customer service could definitely use a good tweaking. When I finally got home, I tried everything out. The Virginian was tasty and the real deal with the ham (no lunch meat stuff). The Bless Your Heart sandwich was delicious as well. The collard greens however did not taste fully cooked. They didn't even fill up the carryout container it was put into. Old Glory collard greens in a can from the local grocer are 1000 times better. Steer clear of this place if you're on a schedule and need to be other places. It's not a "quick bite to eat" at all. If you have a few hours to kill, this is the place to be. Again, the sandwiches were very good indeed, but the speed and efficiency of service is...
