I regularly visit with this particular Roy Rogers in Leesburg off of business 15. Although the pricing is very high incomparable to Five Guys in terms of menu pricing., I don't mind paying extra since Roy's is known for Quality however this visit I got the Double R Bar and it look like a diet sandwich. The ham portion of the sandwich was barely enough to cover the pickles that were on the sandwich. It appeared to be prepared in a proper manner and it was fresh however the quantities for the $10 combo meal were not adequate. However the Saving Grace is the fact that the restaurant is clean and that the young man who wait on me was attentive and responded to all my requests. I understand that would things being slow that's savings need to be made but not at the expense of customers who pay top dollar for the product offered. My Hope Is that they will fix this and make the value back into their menu that they so richly...
Read moreUpdated December, 2024. Sad to see the pre-made salads disappear from the menu and the counter display case. Its hard enough to get kids to eat salads, but they did always like the Roy's salads. Very disappointing that choice has been removed.
Updated 25 August, 2023. I agree with other reviewers who describe this Roy's as consistent in service and food quality. They keep their regular, posted hours, all of the equipment always works, the dining area is usually very clean and tidy, and the food is always good. No excessive delays @ the drive through. I wish the Roy's in Gainesville was as consistent as the South King Street location is.
Stopped by today, around 1PM. The drive through was not busy, so the wait was very short. The food was fine, as always. No complaints. This particular Roy's is very consistent, which is why I keep coming back. I enjoy going to fast places where I can know...
Read moreThe restaurant was clean. I was helped in a timely manner. The food came up hot and fresh, and thoroughly cooked. I had the fried chicken, and under cooking is a common problem, regardless of the restaurant. But they got it right. Still, I was not impressed. There was nothing special to make me remember the brand and want to return. My meal was good, but nothing special. If Roy Rogers were my only choice, I would eat there again. However, I would not seek one out, make a special effort to find one, or make a long drive just to get to a Roy Rogers restaurant. My meal tasted good, was hot and fresh, and made correctly. I found the food very generic, but acceptable. There was nothing wrong. I just did not find anything that made Roy Rodgers stand out and make me want to go back or specifically seek out...
