This experience changed my life. I am not exaggerating. This seafood boil genuinely brought joy to my heart and tears to my eyes when I saw it brought over. I walked in initially not knowing what I would enjoy or what I would like (I have never had crab or a seafood boil before). We were helped by a wonderful person named Sydney. She walked me through the menu in a very clearly explained way and was very kind and bright throughout the whole interaction, building my excitement for the meal ahead of me. She definitely deserves a raise. Seriously, her along with the other girl standing behind the counter were wonderful. As for the food itself, magnifique. Incroyable. Très délicieux. The sauce was to die for and I found myself fighting the urge to drink it. The crab was incredibly flavorful and it had a lot of meat on it. I also got some potatoes and eggs with my boil, all of which were cooked to perfection and amazingly seasoned. In addition to the crab and everything, I ordered a pound of crawfish. Despite being out of season (of which we were informed ahead of time), they were amazing. The seasoning was once again incredibly well done. The flavor was blowing my mind and all the crawfish were incredibly well cooked. For typical problems I encounter with off season crawfish, none of these had those problems. If you wouldn’t have told me they were frozen ahead of time, I would not have known. We were visited a few times by some of the staff/owners during our meal, of which all interactions were wonderful! They are truly genuine people and are very kind to customers, making our experience here wonderful. I had driven down from Norman, Oklahoma for this meal and I am happy to say it did not disappoint! I would gladly make the drive again to come down here. Another note that made our experience great was the soundtrack they had playing in the restaurant. I’m not one to particularly notice these things, but all their songs were perfect for the vibe and my friend and I loved it! Banger after banger! They did provide gloves as well along with other self service utensils all of which served me well during my meal. All and all, this was an amazing experience and I definitely will be...
Read moreI saw Quickie Crab being advertised a few months ago as "coming soon," and I instantly knew I would put this on my places to try. I was pleasantly surprised to wake up this morning to see that they were opened as of today! I decided to go around lunchtime, not long after they opened. I was greeted instantly by one of the owners and one of their employees who welcomed me.
After weighing my options regarding the menu, I decided to order the Quickie Shrimp Combo. I chose to get the King Cajun Dry Rub, Medium heat level. Along with the Dirty Rice. As I was waiting, the owner Blaine (hopefully I spelled it correctly) came over to advise me that, unfortunately, the dirty rice was not ready at the moment. He offered a refund or to swap the item for one of the other side options. I requested the gumbo, and I am glad I did. The gumbo came out first, and it was great. The shrimp was juicy & well seasoned, and the roux was very flavourful. Before I finished the gumbo, the shrimp boil was already ready. They did not skimp on the food, and the King Cajun Dry Rub was amazing! This was probably some of the juiciest shrimp I've had in a cajun boil in a long time. The seasoning on the sausage, potato, corn, and egg really sets it apart and stands out! While I was eating, Blaine came over and apologized again and brought me a sample of a fresh batch of dirty rice (not pictured) that was just made. I must say the dirty rice was AMAZING, the best I have ever gotten from a restaurant. The portions were perfectly sized, and I even had a little bit of food left over to take home. I did not even have room to try the Pecan Pie Cheesecake dessert that Blaine suggested, and I took it with me for dinner that evening.
Overall, I was throughly pleased with my visit to Quickie Crab and definitely plan to visit again, this time to try the wings or fried fish that the gentleman working the front counter (I unfortunately did not catch his name) suggested. I'm hoping the launch goes well, and I am confident that the small hiccups will be ironed out perfectly. Blaine was courteous and asked for honest feedback and was receptive to any given. I...
Read more🔥 QUICKIE CRAB = QUICKIE LOVE AFFAIR 🔥 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Boil Combos – Seafood Boils | Lewisville, TX If you're craving seafood that hits hard and hugs your soul, do yourself a favor and get to Boil Combos in Lewisville. I walked in completely overwhelmed by the mouthwatering options — seriously, the menu is stacked — but after some serious indecision, I finally settled on the Quickie Combo (aka the Quickie Crab Boil). Best. Choice. Ever.
Shoutout to Blain, who was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He walked me through the choices, gave spot-on recommendations, and made the whole experience even better.
I ordered my combo extra spicy (HOT), and trust me, they understood the assignment. It was a bold, fiery masterpiece that had me sweating — in the best possible way.
Let’s break down the lineup:
🦀 Snow Crab Cluster – Sweet, juicy, and cracked open with ease. Coated in their rich house seasoning and buttery sauce, it was pure bliss. 🥚 2 Eggs – Don’t sleep on these. They soaked up all that flavor and delivered little flavor bombs with every bite. 🌭 Sausage – Smoky, spicy, and snappy. The perfect contrast to the crab. 🌽 Corn – Sweet, buttery, and carried the spice beautifully. 🥔 Potatoes – Soft, hearty, and absolutely bursting with Cajun goodness.
And let’s talk about that sauce... INSANE. Garlicky, buttery, spicy magic. I was dipping everything in it like it was liquid gold.
🍹 I also enjoyed a custom margarita and an ice-cold beer — the ideal pairing for the feast. Even the restrooms were spotless, which is always worth mentioning. It’s clear they care about the details here.
✨ Portion sizes? Generous. This wasn’t just a meal; it was an experience. The kind that makes you forget your phone, your stress, and your table manners. I left full, happy, and already dreaming about round two.
Final verdict? If flavor were a sport, the Quickie Crab just took home gold. 🏆 10/10 recommend. And yes — I’d absolutely risk wearing white again for it.
Glad I...
