Taco Bueno — Restaurant in Lewisville

The staff has been rude the last two times I've come here. Today the little young girl ate her orange while taking our order. I asked for peppers and onions from the back and she walked around the counter to come get me some from the bar that were room temp...didn't want that ma'am i asked for the one one step behind you. While sitting there eating (our food was good)the same girl and the one fixing the food stopped doing what they were doing (working) to cut up another orange and eat it right there with all the food fixings. After eating the oranges there was no hand washing just back to making orders and taking orders. I'm a Bueno head and this location is close to my house and work but I think I'm gonna have to start going to the new one in Flower Mound. They (all the women) really just act like they can't...

This restaurant used to be decent but I've been visiting this store again since I've moved to that side of town. All of my experiences with this store this year have been more awful than the last. This most recent one I had taken my lady and myself in to grab some pretty basic items off of the menu, not only were they short staffed but the staff at this store either are getting overworked or are inexperienced because the orders always have issues when being rung up and the food has made us sick the past 3 times we went. This is one of the only Taco Buenos in the metroplex that still has good tasting food. Not only was it hot and fresh but the beans tasted so good. Most of the other Taco buenos don't know how to cook beans anymore and everything tastes weird or bland or sour like it has been out all day. But this one is delicious,slightly greasy(that's what makes it taste good)and very yummy. I'm happy because since I was an assistant manager at a Taco Bueno in the 90s I know how it used to taste, it used to be much better than now. But this particular Taco Bueno still makes good food just like we did in the 90s. It's worth the extra...
