Taqueria Paisanos — Restaurant in Lewisville

So after years of passing this place i finally decided to try. For the price of 2.50 for a taco and 3.00 for lengua, you would expect something decent. The tacos are the small street tacos. Sadly they were disappointing. I dont know how they managed to have lengua, fajitas, pastor, and barbacoa taste the same . I saw a sign stating they need to have those affordable prices to cover cost and enough to make a profit. But dang i tried better tacos with tortilla hechas a mano and way bigger for $2.00. i think they need to rethink there cooking techniques and seasoning. Those meats should not taste the same.

For those who say its good or bomb food, i doubt you tried...

I’ve been going to Paisanos for over 20 years for tacos for a reason. I’ve been gladly making the drive from Lewisville and now Denton to the Dallas location, 1 hr plus round trip, for my tacos for forever, until…I realized they put a location in Lewisville a several years ago. I’ve prided myself for being the only gringo in line and attempting to order in Spanish for so long. They deserve a review, I don’t do many.

This is truly a great place to get authentic street tacos. Family owned and a great small business to patronize. And the red sauce is oh so...
