Although it would be impossible to imagine a dining strip restaurant attached to a Korean supermarket would have the best donkatsu in the world, this is what exists here.
Everything else on the menu, like the tornado omurice, is great, but none are as spectacular as the donkatsu. It's picturesque; like a work of art. It's the platonic ideal of a donkatsu; if there was an example picture of donkatsu in the dictionary, the giant, juicy, thick cut piece you eat here would be what you see. Everything about it is perfect. For example, it uses the slivers of panko bread crumbs as opposed to the regular pebble shaped ones that you would find anywhere else for this dish. Traits like this are what set it apart. The Curry Katsu is absolutely delicious and quite a sizeable serving. The curry is a rich taste with mild spiciness, a hallmark of Japanese style curry. The pork cutlet was perfectly crisp and juicy. The macaroni salad was addictive, and I had to stop myself from finishing it first. Definitely making this a routine to come by and eat in!
