This place has terrible customer service AND food. How can the food be horrible at Popeyes?! I arrived around 10 pm and ordered a 5 piece meal. The rep was decent in their customer service. When I got home and saw the mess they gave me, I was very upset. The chicken was black, dry and tasteless. No one answered when I called that night. I wanted to come the next day because they were 10-15 miles away. I called the next day and explained the terribleness of my order to a Manager. She was unbothered by my outrage. I said I just wanted to check that I could it redone before I drove the distance. She said bring the chicken and receipt and there won't be a problem. When I arrived no one in the front welcomed me as I stood at the register. Finally the manager I talked to on the phone came out. I showed her the disgusting chicken. She said hold on and went to the back. The Manager came back and asked me what I wanted to do. I said I would like the order remade. At that time, I asked if I could have a small French fry instead of the biscuits. She went on about how there is an additional charge blah blah. Mind you she knew how far I drove because of their mistake. I said never mind. After she made the order again, she just handed it to me, no apology, bye, or thank you . I asked for the name of the store Manager. She said that's Rod, he's here. Do you want to speak to him? I said, "Yes please". It took a moment for Rod to come because the Manager was running back and forth saying he's hiding from me. I said never mind, I'll just call corporate. Then Rod appeared. I explained about how disappointed I was coming from urgent care last night not having eaten all day and wanted some good Popeye's. I asked if he saw the state of the chicken I brought in. He said, "Yes, spicy usually looks like that the next day". I said it looked like that last night. I asked if he wanted to see the pictures from last night. I told him how far I drove and I didn't even get a sorry for your inconvenience and the least you could have done was trade out fries for biscuit. He said oh we can do that who told you no. Then the Manager said I did, it's an extra charge, isn't it? Rod said we can give her some fries. I said thank you. The Manager claimed she had given me an extra piece of chicken. I'll get to that part in a minute. While someone was getting the fries we started talking about the swelling of my mouth and urgent care. Rod said something about my face looking better on the big swollen side than my regular face. I said what?! I took it as an insult. He laughed.I took my stuff l, walked out and vowed to never set foot in that place again. When I got home , the extra piece of chicken was a wing. I was also given mashed potatoes instead of what I ordered red beans and rice. The chicken looked better but it still was not good. I'm following up with corporate. This was a horrible experience!

Drive thru line was a tad long, however it was moving... slowly. We ordered our food which was two, 2 piece combos, one with red beans & rice an extra biscuit, and the other with red beans & rice with an additional side of mashed potatoes. The guy whom was on the intercom taking orders kept saying, "ok got it, anything else, &/or "ok, ok, ok" as if he understood, and comprehended the order. I had a feeling something would be wrong or missing since he was saying ok so fast (even though the order wasn't difficult at all). Upon pulling up to the 1st window to pay the nice young lady asked if we ordered "blah blah so & so" (which wasn't our order) & we said no, reiterating what the order was. She looked a tad confused as if the order wasn't there, maaaaaybe they gave it to someone else...I TRULY HAVE NO IDEA. She diligently looked in the system for our order, which was nowhere to be found. She asked us what our order was again & placed it into the system as we waited, after already waiting in the drive thru line. She was very nice & sweet so it made me feel better a tad. I've been to a nice amount of popeyes & a nice amount of different occasions, but this just wasnt the smoothest experience. The drive thru guy whom took our orders, and had a light/lime green shirt on portrayed as if he heard & had our orders correctly after asking us 2 times. Upon getting the food it wasn't easy on the eyes. Normally I see my popeyes chicken I'm super excited, it looks APPETIZING, however the biscuit was dryer than normal, also breaking right apart which hasn't happened before, however I ate the middle which was the softer part. Popeyes biscuits usually MELT IN UR MOUTH, but not today at this location. Lastly the chicken just wasnt IT, for a lack of better words. It tasted ok due to the mardi gras sauce masking everything. I didn't want to write this review however it's the truth & I feel like I wasted my money. The sides were decent which were mashed pot & red beans & rice, however I barely ate them due to the chicken & biscuit being so mediocre. I eat everything collectively lol and that wasn't possible. I heard this popeyes always messes up orders but I didn't know the food/ experience would be like that. The young African American lady whom was at the window did such a great job at trying to turn the "situation" around, and for that i appreciate her, & would possibly give this popeyes another chance since I visit this area frequently.

I decided to bring my 10 and 8 years old kids for the first time to Popeyes. I told the service lady that I didn’t know much of the menu. She didn’t either or got any professional help from coworkers either. She seems like a she was in LaLa Land. Please have someone with more energy at service counter. I ordered the kids meal, first I was impacted of the size of the 4 pieces of chicken. I asked nicely as I never been there before. Didn’t get a clear answer. So I assume that’s the size of the food. My daughter asked me to taste the chicken that it tasted bad… I tried the chicken and it tasted like damaged. I threw it out of my mouth but my daughter had eaten two pieces already. I hope she doesn’t get sick. I asked the Serv lady that if whatever she served was “Spicy” as stated on top of the food. She said it was not. I kept asking as I saw her taking it from there. I said. I’m just asking because is for my kid and he doesn’t eat spicy. She said it was not spicy. But It WAS. I brought the wing to them as my son couldn’t eat it because it was so spicy. Again, the girl/lady couldn’t explain so someone else jumped in the conversation, with attitude out of nowhere. Like I was stupid. I was just like. “Ok. Thanks” and left. No wonder why this location was so empty. Not even a car in the drive thru. We were the only ones there and then someone else came in. My advise, Owner, blind test your employees. They are not doing a good job, honestly. For Popeyes corporation, your food it’s too expensive for the amount it’s served. Food is good but too expensive. Make sure your employees are trained especially to serve little kids. It’s a feedback. I had a very bad experience. I would never, honestly, will ever be back there.

During my recent visit to Popeyes located in 1635 pleasanthill rd Duluth Ga 30096 Can this restaurant be called that? It's totally disgusting. I ordered a chicken sandwich and the bread came with mold included. YES MOLD

When I enter the restaurant, the people who work there do not clean the floors or clean the countertops, it is total disgust. Nastiest place ever in Duluth GA Be very careful when eating in this disgusting restaurant Almost all of those who work there are filthy ex-convicts and they care little about the health of the customers. This is not going to stay like this. There is no way

I am going to escalate this situation to the corporation of Popyes restaurants and food chains and the FDA in Atlanta.

I will address the various hygiene concerns I encountered, thereby shedding light on the restaurant's shortcomings.

Unsanitary Food Preparation Areas: One of the most alarming aspects in terms of hygiene was the state of the food preparation areas. The workers serve rotten food with mold included The surfaces appeared visibly unclean and there were remnants of food spills, grease, and grime that had not been properly wiped or sterilized. This raised serious concerns about cross-contamination and the overall hygiene of the dishes being prepared. It was evident that the staff had not prioritized regular and thorough cleaning practices.

Neglected Restrooms: The state of the restrooms further highlighted the lack of attention to cleanliness. The floors were noticeably dirty and there was a lingering unpleasant odor throughout. Essential items like soap, paper towels, and toilet paper were either missing or nearly depleted. Such negligence is not only uninviting but also poses a significant health risk to customers. A clean and well-maintained restroom is a fundamental expectation every restaurant should meet.

Dirty Dining Area: The dining area itself also left much to be desired in terms of cleanliness. The tables and chairs were visibly dirty and had not been properly wiped down. Crumbs, stains, and spilled food could be found on multiple surfaces, which greatly detracted from the overall dining experience. Not only did this compromise the aesthetic appeal of the restaurant, but it also raised concerns about the general hygiene practices in food handling and cleanliness of the establishment as a whole.

Inadequate Staff Awareness and Training: It became apparent that the cleanliness issues were primarily due to a lack of proper staff training and awareness regarding hygiene practices. Observing the staff members, it was evident that they did not prioritize regular cleaning tasks or adhere to proper sanitation protocols. When bringing these concerns to the attention of the staff, their response was apathetic, reflecting a lack of accountability and dedication towards maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.

Conclusion: My experience at Popeyes in 1635 pleasanthill rd was marred by pervasive hygiene issues that greatly affected my overall impression of the establishment. Unsanitary food preparation bread with MOLD neglected restrooms, and a dirty dining area showcased a lack of attention to proper cleanliness practices. It is my hope that the Corporate office takes immediate action to address these concerns, thereby ensuring a safer and more enjoyable dining experience for...

I chose to give a 2 because of the final result. I dont usually get Popeyes and for the longest my family and had been waiting for an oppurtunity to order some Louisana Chicken. What was thought to be a great idea led to a diaster for our dinner. We order a family meal online with 4 sides. Two Large mashed with gravy, 1 large coleslaw, 1 regular rice and bean, and 1 Large order of fries. I submitted and paid for my meal online to help with less contact due to all the covid cases recently in the area. When I arrive the lady at the front took more than 10 seconds to respond to me. I say lady out of respect because no nametags were present on any person. I found myself since the beginning trying to force great customer service from the staff towards me but the entire experience was upsetting. When the lady at the front finally acknowledged me she turn around and said my order was not in the system but right before she told me that she had told her co worker that the guy with the order they recently deleted was here. She then said she couldn't find my order in the system and ask me for a confirmation of not I would need to make another order. Since I paid online I did mot want to make another order and get double charged. After finding the confirmation on my phone I gave to the representative and she responded with frustration through her body language. I then get a third person, who appears to be a manager of some sort beacause she was wearing orange, to come look at the screen and told them just to make my order. The lady in the orange shirt then told me that she has no gravvy for the mash and ask if I was sure that I wanted to continue with my order. I asked why this was not announce online when I made the purchase and she responded with online orders are always a problem and she encourage me not to use it. She then said she does have gravvy but its frozen. I told her that I could wait for the gravy but she laugh and said she cannot do that. I realized at this point that they did not want to serve me or continue to help me. I was patience and requested if there is something else they can give me so she add extra fries to my large order of fries. I felt like my food was rush and placd in thr bag with frustration. The bag with the meal was placed on the counter and nothing was said to me. I ask one of the representatives if it was my meal and she nodded her head up and down. I looked through the bag and notice my coleslaw missing so I ask for the coleslaw but was responded with frustration. I am not sure what I did to deserve this type of behavior but it was really upsetting.
