Starbucks — Restaurant in Lincoln Charter Township

4678 Red Arrow Hwy, Stevensville, MI 49127. I am extremely disappointed.

My wife and I are driving from Chicago to Detroit. It's a long drive and we were looking forward to our bathroom break and coffee. We arrived at 8:49 and the doors were locked the posted closing time showed 9pm. Saw someone sweeping who made eye contact and quickly looked down. We went through the drive thru thinking that maybe the lobby was closed. No answer. I pulled around the front and saw someone walk out with the peeped mocha mix for tomorrow morning. It was clear these doors had been closed for a while.

I was extremely disappointed, drove across the street to McDonald's to get a coffee that isn't my favorite and to my surprise I was met with a high spirited drive through order taker. He informed me of new products and had a fun play with the order. When I pulled up to get my food Michael was exuberant and friendly. We made us smile and was above expectations. McDonald's gave us world class service and Starbuck gave us the lowest possible customer service when the opposite is supposed to be true.

I used to manage a Starbucks and spent over 10 years working for Starbucks and Jamaba Juice. Staying open to the posted time of operation is the bare minimum. Gas stations follow these rules. I hope there is a review and feedback is provided to these team members and the manager is reminded of the importance of the integrity of the Starbucks brand held together by a collection of individual stores. I had a horrendous experience at this store, largely due to the appalling customer service provided by the manager, Amanda (blonde hair) and her colleague, Julie (black hair). Amanda was dismissive, rude, and completely unhelpful. Instead of addressing my concerns, she seemed more interested in chatting with her colleague. I left feeling frustrated and disrespected. After I left, I decided to call to speak to management. I asked who the manager was currently working and she again stated her name is Amanda.

(They treated me so poorly. When I asked for their names I believe they gave me fake names. That’s why I have left the time, date and the color of their hair. Hopefully you can review video footage to ensure this doesn’t happen again)

I just have to give a huge shout out to Starbucks in Stevensville. Went there this morning, pulled in at 10:11. Drive thru was backed up to the road. People were sitting on Marquette Woods waiting to turn into the drive thru line. Parking lot was FULL. People were parking on the side of the road. I went to the drive thru. First, the gentleman that took my order was SO kind and friendly. He could see from his window that I had one of my dogs with me. When I finished the order, he asked if I wanted a pup cup! I wasn’t going to ask for one because they were so busy. He was so sweet to offer. Then, I kid you not, from pulling into the parking lot, to pulling out of thr parking lot with my drink, almond croissant and pup cup, NINE MINUTES.
