D.P. Dough — Restaurant in Lincoln

We have spent over 600 Dollars at this restaurant in the last month, we order basically the same thing everytime and it's always light cheese, as of last night we again ordered our food with light cheese and what we received is in the pictures attached to this review, they argued with us and told that it was light cheese and we asked if we brought the items back into the store if they could remake it, they said no and that we would need to speak to the manager the next day and immediately Hung up on us. My fiancé called back to get the managers name so that we could speak to him the next day and was hung up on twice by the same employee (a man named Izzy) who is exceptionally rude. We called and spoke to the manager and were told that they will no longer be correcting the food when we call in about it and they will no longer allow us to order our food with "weird requests". We only order the food with light cheese and no pepperoni and were told that it's weird requests (and were complained at several times because of our continuous "weird requests and changes) The interactions with this business and their employees were beyond sub par, the reason we had spent over 600 Dollars there so far was because we enjoyed the food, however, considering the atrocious and rude customer service that they have consistently displayed each time we have ordered food from them, no matter how good the food was the customer service has been bad enough that we will NOT be returning again. Great food is always awesome but not when you are treated terribly and coldly and are made to feel unwelcome at a business of any kind. If you feel unwelcome and are treated terribly it entirely ruins the experience. I am saying all of this as an individual who has over 17 years of kitchen experience and more than 17 years of customer service experience, including being a supervisor and an assistant manager at several food establishments. As a previous manager, I would never, ever have allowed this behavior and horrible level of customer service under any circumstances!! Horrible...

My wife and I placed an order on NYE. We understood going into placing this order that there would be some kind of a wait. Totally understandable. But when the person who took the order over the phone told us the ETA would be 30 minutes after we placed the order, we were expecting the order to be at our hotel at 1:30 am. That, however, was not the case. We called at 1:45 and was told that there were orders ahead of ours. No problem. We would have liked that honesty going into placing the order. Then calling back at 2 am, a woman answers and tells us at first she can't hear us. I repeat the reason we are calling, ( just wanting an ETA), she tells us, unprofessionally, to call back in 5 minutes and hangs up. We call back well after the 5 minutes and were told that it would be another 20 minutes. This was at 2:17 am. We were going to give it until 2:45 but then we were going to cancel the order at this point. But the driver called and he was in the lobby. He was polite and we knew that none of this was the drivers fault. We knew he was delivering orders as fast as he could. However, the woman who took the call when we wanted a new ETA needs to learn customer service. Overall the food was okay. We ordered two different kinds calzones, which were okay but the bacon cheese tots that were ordered had burnt bacon. That on its own is unacceptable. Why would you serve burnt bacon?! This has to be the worst dp dough location in the nation. The manager is nice, but when he isn’t around the place is a wreck. I have ordered here and left specific instructions to call when ordered and they have said they delivered it and never actually did with confirmation from security cameras. Have given them second third and fourth chances with nothing resolved as I do like this place. They do not do modifications for people with allergies on busy nights and would rather see the competition walk out the doors. I have ordered many times and told it would be a half hour of less and had it been three hours tops before it ever gets delivered. There was also another time when the delivery was after they closed and I received my order and it was half gone. Not really sure what happened there, but this place does not care if you are happy or not. They just care if they have drunk people walking in the door keeping them in business. 10/10 do not recommend unless you are desperate.
