Great Plains Art Museum — Attraction in Lincoln

Located in downtown, I was surprised to see that there were no reviews. So I figured I would pop in and see why. And to tell you, I don't know why. This is a small but interesting art collection and is well worth at least an hour of art appreciation.Some excellent American artists on display here including Frederic Remington (I've seen his sculptures in many places, including Bismarck and Salt Lake City), John Falter, Albert Bierstadt and Edwin Deming. We attended a special symposium last week "Epic Neihardt". The staff was welcoming and helpful. The Art Museum is lovely and easy to navigate. The layout (bathroom in the basement level) worked well for this event. Take a tour on your lunch break if you work downtown or on campus.
